AW is basically a Knight Enchanter with some Rift Mage powers. As far as lore is concerned, he is a pure mage.

Screw lore and look at the abilities, he can do melee, wield staff, cast magic spells. "Lore" - pah - I spit on it.

This seems like a reasonable concern but considering the time to record, edit and implement voices might affect future DLC.

But given how long development takes possibly the voices could be recorded simultaneously.

They may have kept the voice actors on contract for future content, like they did with SWTOR. Probably record it on the premises rather than renting a studio. Bioware certainly does enough voiceover work to warrant having their own setup.

The cost obviously isn't zero, but I am sure they planned for it. I'm more interested in when they will come up with agents with new abilities, as they did in ME3MP after a while. Power creep, here we come!

I would've liked a Geth Adept, but the Awakened Collector served the purpose very well.
