This seems like the kind of thing one ought to decide for oneself, on the basis of the avatar's personality as played off of the companion's.
Who is the better romance for a male: Cassandra or Josephine?

Oh, anyways to the guy talking about Cassandra looking like a dude. I forget what it was called but there was a thing where Cassandra was actually shown sporting longer hair. If there's anything that makes her look like a guy, it'd just be her haircut

Okay... since the mods here apparently prefer the nuclear option, I'll just recap what I said, which is people who think Cass looks like a man are either blind or their perception is skewed and need to go look at what real women look like. Cass has some boyish features but she is not manly:

And for the record, Ashley Williams is awesome. Deal with it.
+1
And yes, there are some "Ashley elements" in Cassandra. Well, ME1 Ashley at least.
Both are tough, direct women who are religious. In Cassandra's case, though it is far more open, given she is/was an important person in the Chantry and faith being one of DAI's themes.
And beneath Cass's tough exterior is a romantic idealist. She doesn't see the romance as a casual hookup.

For me it was Josi all the way, until I saw Cass being a really die head romantic, almost school girl level of romanticness.
Also I like that fact she is cool with the fact that Inquistor isn't a devout Andersitane.

I really fell in love with Cassandra the moment when she tells you that you can't "court" her

Josie - if you prefer classical sweet farytail romance.
Cass - Cass over Josie every day for me.
Harding - Now this is case in which where there is no help for me.......

Having played through the Cassandra romance and watched the whole of the Josephine romance on youtube, I can honestly say my preference is Cassandra by a mile.
Not that there's anything inherently wrong with Joesphine's romance, just that it isn't for me.

Josephine, easily.

hmm...
from those two I would say Cass... I've tried them both but Jossie is just too... book-like for my tastes

I prefer going with Cass. I like the idea of being the most powerful duo in Thedas if you make her divine. You lead the entire inquisition and she the reformed chantry with her new templars and seekers.
That's the end of the romance, unfortunately. There's no duo anymore.
I'd rather her remain "Cass". Not "Victoria"...Waking up every day, with brownosers, waving at supplicants, sitting on some stupid throne doling out boons.
High Seeker Pentaghast has a better ring to it...

Meh I don't look at it as an ending. On my run there wasn't any break up dialouge. Just her saying she will have to leave for the capital soon. Sure they wont be around each other all the time but I'm sure 2 people with the power they have can easily manage to set time aside. Especially since they call upon the inquisition quite often in either divines epilogue.
Until I get confirmation, I think it's the death knell. I can't be happy with headcanon, as much as I want to.
They confirm that Leliana is flexible with the rules with the Warden romance, but don't bother mentioning Cass. Which makes sense. Leliana is much more liberal and loose on how she views the Chantry.

I believe Gaider said "wait and see" concerning whether the romance ends or not.

Yeah, I know.
Which isn't the same as what they said about Leliana.
Generally speaking, I totally love her as Divine btw.. I just... don't really like where this is going for romance specifically. Need more info. And to me, being hands on with the Seekers is more important than a Divine actually. They're dead without her. The Chantry is not.
