"Humans, aliens, we're all just animals." -Ashley Williams
Someone sounds kind of like a whiny ******, like a certain Marine :P

Nah, even if I dislike her, I dont think Ashley is whiny, but she is a ******

Cassandra didnt know you, unlike a certain marine
Cassandra didnt spend 2 games mistrusting you and threatening you, unlike a certain marine
Cassandra isnt boring, hypocrit, unsuferable, xenophobic, unlike a certain marine

That certain marine knew you before you "died" and got rebuilt by the organization playing with indoctrination technology

Irrelevant.  She mistrusted and threatened you from the moment you met until she witnessed that vision showing the Inquisitor had nothing to do with the Breach

Leave Kai Leng out of this :P

Well lets stop going off-topic.

Cassandra romance, in my opinion, is one the best romance BW has ever wiritten. So go with the valkyrie of love.

None of the rest has better pacing then Cassandra.

I loved Cassandra's romance so much that I think I will be unable to romance anyone else with a male character in the future.

She might actually be my favourite Bioware romance, taking into account the differences in the amount of content when judged against some of the Mass Effect trilogy's characters.

The topic title makes no sense...

It's like asking 'Which food is best, lasagna or pancakes?'.

They are both excellent, just "taste" differently.

since I find Josie bland and rather plain, I'd consider Cass the better option. Don't consider either to be as good as many previous romances personally.

Hell no, the correct answer is and always will be lasagna. Lasagna.

You damn right she is the lasagna, baby! Josephine can be pancakes, because she has no booty.

They are soldier, religious, like armor and poetry. But one support and believe on you the other only knows the word Cerberus, says that you are a traitor, point a gun at you, is a hypocrite, etc...

Well, to be fair to do that to you with Kaidan as well. That's something I didn't like about ME 3. They made Ashley and Kaidan completely stupid in regards to Cereberus. No matter how much you told either of them you cut ties, they still thought you were involved with them.

I loved the Cassandra romance. Was flirting with both of them, but Leliana scared the b'jaysus out of my inquisitor. He really didn't want her in the wings ready to off him everytime he accidently hurt Josephine's feelings, lol. I'll try again with another inquisitor who won't flirt casuallly before he makes up his mind.

Good point. I'd say something about lasagna's tomato sauce.

But I'm 99.99 percent sure it'll sound completely gross and get taken the wrong way, lol.

Miranda.... I see nothing of Miranda in Cassandra at all. Miranda is consumed with daddy issues and trust problems, and needs a major lesson on how to dress appropriately for battle. Miranda strikes me as a person that can't handle a few hand calluses. Cassandra is nothing like that at. At all, really. "Little miss perfect" vs Woman that doesn't care about scars or wearing short hair because like her armor, it's practical. Cassandra comes off as a true warrior, while Miranda is fanservice.

"Daddy issues and trust problems" do come about when you're effectively a prisoner in your own home for a good 15 or 16 years of your life and are completely cut-off from contact from the outside world save for 1 person, your father is an egomaniacal tyrant, and the one person you've come to consider a friend sells you out to said tyrant, and when you consider that the sole reason for your existence is to continue the tyrant's ego-filled legacy, to the extent that you don't even have a mother and were made by cherry-picking traits from other people as if out of a catalog. If someone spends close to the first 20% of their life receiving no love or affection from ANYBODY, that wears on them and eventually breaks them to where they can't handle it anymore. Miranda has her upgrades over other people, but she's still just a human like everyone else (other than the dirty aliens). That's the entire point of her character arc in ME2 (I won't speak for 3, ME3 completely ruined and pooped on just about every ME2 character).

Also, what? Miranda is just as violent as Cassandra when she needs to be, only she uses a gun and her biotics instead of a sword and Seeker powers. She spent her entire adult life undertaking the most dangerous and technically demanding operations for Cerberus (by her own word), and led those operations to success.

I genuinely feel like I am literally the only person who actually took the time to listen to Miranda's dialogue, think about what she says, and find her interesting based on her merits.

Yea yea, Miranda's full of sob, I'm aware. The point I'm making is Miranda's character revolves around her daddy issues and family problems, while Cassandra isn't really anything like that. Her story's about faith and determination, honor and service. Miranda and Cassandra really are nothing alike.

And yes, Miranda fights, but it's not really believable coming from her vs Cassandra. Don't care who you are, no one goes into battle and lives long looking like that, and being dressed like that. I know there's some term for it. Wai-fu I believe. Not waifu, but wai-fu, where people who have no business kicking ass do so anyway while looking like pornstars and ****... I find it rather insulting honestly to compare the likes of her to such a well done character like Cassandra.

Besides being your second, when they used to be the leader, the two really have nothing at all in common.

I sometimes feel like this guy doesn't pay attention. I already mentioned that the comparison I was making forMiranda and Cassandra is that they were both devote to their cause. Cassandra believed strongly in the Seekers and Miranda believed strongly in Cerberus. Ironically, both of them got disappointed by what they believed. The Seekers were corrupt, or w.e it was that was wrong with them..I can't remember now as I've only played through it once, and Cerberus showed how they really were, like when Miranda pretty much tells TIM to shove it at the end of ME 2 if you have her along. The only point you're trying to make is a comparison of their attires which has absolutely nothing to do with why they were being compared in the first place. You don't like Miri's attire? Good for you. That wasn't the point and apparently you can't seem to comprehend that. Instead you tried to turn it into a competition of looks

No, I just ignore points that I don't care for. The comparisons are shallow at best. Sorry I don't feel like they're worth discussing *shrug*, but I don't see the worth in humoring this comparison at all. Which is why I ignored your posts entirely and stuck to the member that was actually addressing me. I am not at all required to respond or consider everyone's responses that are in this thread every time I respond.

I brought up their attire, because their attire is one of the reasons I like Cassandra and dislike Miranda. I don't really give a **** if you brought it up or anyone else brought it up. I brought it up, because I felt like it. Don't want to talk about it? Then ignore it, same as how I ignored you. But I'm going to talk about whatever the hell I want when discussing characters. Deal with it.

edit: And believe it or not, what one wears does indeed say a lot about who one is. As Vivienne once said, in fact, lol.

This still works, because Cassandra is a way of life, not a romance choice ;)

Apparently you didn't ignore it since you keep going on about it, all you did was change what the comparison was. "Shallow at best"..Says you. Smh, bud I was the one who made the comparison between Miranda and Cassandra in the first place whereas you're the one who turned it into a contest of looks. That had no relevance to what I said and was nothing more than an excuse for you to go on about your distaste for Miri. Oh look, someone who thinks he's entitled to do whatever he wants.  Sounds like what I'd expect a kid to say.  And believe it or not, if you're going to complain about how Miri dresses then you might as well complain about what the other female characters wear too because she isn't the only one wise guy. Morrigan, Isabella, Samara, and others say hi

If I made this about a contest of looks, I wouldn't be complaining about Miranda's Camel friggin toe taking up the battlefield...

Our dialogue exchange isn't about you... No one cares that you mentioned it somewhere on page one, I was not talking to you, directly or indirectly... I don't know what to tell ya, but the world doesn't revolve around you, and I honestly don't care about what your opinion is of me, so kindly sod off. Seriously, you're jumping at me because I didn't mention your Cerberus point in my post or acknowledge it? Seriously? There's likely other people in this thread who made some point about it that I ignored as well. It happens, and I suggest you deal with it. If it was really that important to you, you should have just brought it up again without being a jerk about it, saying I don't pay attention. That was uncalled for.

Me discontinuing our discussion is not an invitation for you to whine at me in my PM box by the way.

And when Isabella's slooty ass comes up in conversation, as well as the rest, perhaps I will bring it up. Until then, I prefer to address what is actually being discussed. Now that's the end of the dialogue exchange between you and I, regardless of if you choose to give your pointless retort afterwards.
