Here's something that's odd. When I try to romance Sera early on. There's a heart symbol. I tell her "I like you" she say's right because we have so many things in common. I reply "Like What" she responds "We both like women" ..may sound silly. Sera does like male and females right. I been intently trying to romance her early on.

 

I brought her along with the big missions. I hear she freaks out when in that Fade place where your alive but in a dead place. I can't seem to romance her or maybe I'm not that far along in the game yet. I spoken with her about all her issues. I tried doing every operation she has. I killed the nobles and helped her red jenny friends. I don't know maybe it's me..not her..

a bit strange that you love a character this much and don't know that she isn't bisexual

I'm guessing it got hidden after someone started going on about terrorism and such, although by that point it had pretty much filled up with the usual haters attempting to rationalise why they didn't like her, so I guess it'd pretty much run its course anyway...

Well, she is the reason i've never had Varric in my party outside Hinterlands ;)

 

Definitely my favorite of the companions. And Dorian too, they have some funny banter together.

I'm with you on that.

 

And I loved Varric! Always a companion in DA:2.

 

I don't know, I think having the funny/light-hearted characters tag along makes long fetch-questing that much more tolerable. I hate/love Viv, initially I took her along just to slay dragons; now she's a regular in the party because her insults are just gold.

 

Dorian is my second favourite character, always my IQ's best bud.

She said during my one play through we both have something in common. We both like women. I assumed she would cross over into liking guys once you bring her into that fade place and she sees you almost die. I was waiting for that.

When a woman says she likes women, then that's it.

 

She may respect/love you as a friend but sexual preference doesn't change according to soppy, heart-felt, chaotic moments. :lol:

Same. My regular party who go nearly everywhere with me comprises Sera, Dorian and Cassandra, though I do try to include all the others periodically, especially if it's something to do with them personally (there's only so many times I want to listen to Blackwall's indignant and hurt "Would. Have. Liked." speech! :lol: )

I also hate Viv, but I think she's wonderful nonetheless. Kinda reminds me of Servalan off Blakes 7.

Yeah. I mean I have guy friends who I love as friends and would do anything for them, but I still couldn't actually make myself fancy them and want to be in a relationship.

I was in much the same predicament on my first play-through when I tried hard to chat up Cassandra only to find it was going nowhere... though the awkward revelation that she wasn't into women was wonderfully done. :lol:

"Assuming" is wrong, especially when someone makes it clear what they like.

Plenty of male friends... would I bang them, feel any sort of emotional affection? Yeah... nah. The idea grosses me out, to be honest. :lol: Pretty sure this is exactly how Sera and every other lesbian on the planet feels.

 

I didn't even go for Cass and I had that talk anyway! It was classic. I swear, not once did I hit the flirt option.

 

My favourite party is Sera, Dorian and IB. It's like double dating :lol:

Because you have this passion if its female. This thing about lovers where you can see each other naked that's better then being her best friend. I mean I guess unless I start around playthrough as a female I won't know...So I guess my last playthrough will be as a female.

It took quite a while, but my char is finally romancing Sera, which turned out to be rather entertaining as well (can't compare to anything as it's the first time I've romanced in any Bioware-game). I also like how everybody else frown at "Inky" courting Sera.

Unbearable character.

 

As someone who lives in South London, all I need to do to hear a number of Seras is to step outside and walk around. Bunch of chavvy, trashy women spouting foul language for no reason besides them being too much of a vermin to express themselves without. Ugly character, looks like she has herpes. Her lips are as big as her ears. Her hair is a train wreck. She thinks the only punishment for any crime, regardless of scope or scale is death.

 

She's probably the worst addition to DA, and I'll be happy if in the canon she ends up dead in a ditch somewhere and her name never spoken of again. Her grave in the fade read 'Irrelevant' and that is exactly what she is. Pointless and irrelevant.

That's a shame since Sera/Varric is awesome xd

I only ever heard Sera's giggle-snort with Varric banter so it's worth it for that at least.

Though, I'm weird and I usually use two rogue companions unless I'm playing a rogue.
