As far as I know, nothing has been changed with respect to armour over the holiday. When did you first start seeing that armour doesn't seem to be working?
are you serious ?????
you are not even aware of the issue ????
u failed with the first dlc, armor became 0 armor rating in threatening and perilous, how could you not have known that ? been forever since that happened
does ANYONE over there even play ????
does ANYONE over there even test MP ???
are you only looking at single player ???

Unbelievable. This bug has been documented and tested over several posts here and you guys are just finding out about it now? I don't even have any words for this incompetence.
We have one of the best QA departments in the industry.

Lets keep our heads in the game, so far there's not been alot of proof presented...
If this was as widespread as you lot are saying, surely proof would be easy to present?

Alright, at least you are aware of the bug now.
But you do know about the dog-like npc's / stealth npcs problem,ie the key glitch?

http://forum.bioware...been-turned-off
that was the first thread I saw documenting it. Its been reported a few times over several topics that ive seen.
I don't think its our job as forum users to investigate bugs. We wouldn't even have to report them if Bioware actually tested new content before launching it.

it is easier to look away, then you dont ignore, you just miss it........

Yesterday i've done the most stupid decision this year...i've downloaded the Destruction DLC, ugh.
And i can confirm that armor is completely bugged, my level 18 archer was killed by 3 normal shots from archers (threatening difficulty) and that was not the case before downloading the DLC i could also see that my teamates lose a lot more health than usual.
I will wait for the patches, because as for now it is not fun to play due to many broken things. (i would like to keep my sanity ^^ )

Not sure if this is relevant but bioware has a habit of testing only on one difficulty (coz they only did any testing using the silver difficulty back in ME3MP). I guess for DAMP they have only done QA in routine.

how lazy can bioware be ?????
go outside, call in 12 kids, let them play for few hours and tell you that you failed, then fix where you failed
I dont even know how the dogs got tested, if they even bothered ??
pretty much every game when there are dogs 2 or more are intertwined in each other or half inside a wall, or inside a wall(key bug)
also, every enemy target a giant, they see you and they ignore the giant, and the giant ignore those ppl that wanted to kill him to attack me that have done nothing toward him ![]()
sam with all monsters, pretty funny to have stealth on kill and stealth up to the enemies attacking the monster, back stab and kill one of the weakest like an archer, run around the corner and watch how they all start to chase you, then when they comes around the corner you stealth and they runs back to attack the monster and the monster continue to defend him self against his murderers, and then you repeat ![]()

Hi guys,
We investigated this issue and found that armor seems to be working as intended.
The issue with the Assassin's Mantle (Dawn) having 0 armor is a bug that will be remedied soon.
It is intended behavior that you take more damage when attacked from the flank. It is also the case that some attacks, such as the Dreamer's attack, ignore armor by design. The DLC does not affect the way that damage or armor is calculated, as this is a function of the base game that remains the same regardless of additional content that may be installed.
If you do notice any specific oddities where you think the system is broken, please post them!

Thanks much for the time spent Andy.
Could you discuss with the team how you would prefer possible bugs being reported in the future?

Working as intended again I see!
What about the abilities that prevent flanking damage that do not work?

The armor bug started happening to me shortly after the last weekend's event ended. It had nothing to with the dlc. I was taking about 80% more damage with the same armor. I even equipped better armor rating armor but still was taking a lot more damage.
It's obvious bioware staff barely plays any bit of the multiplayer, if any of them played at minimum of 2-3 hours of it a day like most of the people complaining then they'd know about this issue instead of saying it doesn't exist.
They're probably too busy with their free time playing a different online game, maybe we should do the same

You can't be serious... dudes can block every arrow from leaping shot with a sword, s*** they can even do it while FROZEN!
I think they are re-skinned Geth, as I remember them (Hunters/Rocket Troopers) being able to shoot while in Stasis. ![]()

Thanks, man, for checking on it and answering back. The only armor I've got that is set to zero was the Assassin armor set so you've answered that question for me.

lol yea right, you probably took a cup of coffee, played 1 game on routine and went "all is fine, what are they talking about"
you are saying that on routine an archers should do 1(one) damage and on threatening they should do 250-300 ?
you do know what it is not just 1 archer per level ![]()
