Leveling my Legionnaire for the first time. He was level 11, so he had 4 abilities (2 slots dedicated to Shield Wall, unfortunately, but I guessed well on the other abilities that I took.)

 

For Zone 5, the other three had decided to hang back in The Room™.

 

I had seen what happens when a Red Templar Commander gets a huddled group in The Room™, and it ain't pretty!

 

 

After getting over ten failures in a row during the first weekend I played, I decided this weekend that I was going to get between them and everything else! My Legionnaire be like:

 

 

 

And I resolved to HOLD THAT LINE

I found myself trying to level my lowly Lvl 1 Legionnaire tonight just as you did, and in the same position.  We got lucky, we won 10+ matches in a row (routine difficulty only!) but *only* because a lvl 15-or-so gentleman and another guy close to that level suck with a couple of us lowly creatures for the whole time.  Trying to gain some easy gold?  Or just felt gracious tonight?  Almost certainly the former but if felt nice.  Ugh that Red Templar Commander.  I tried my hardest but I think you learned me some things  

Nicely done!  Me, I usually just choose whichever ability suits me, I do try to stick to one tree out of the two choices for the most part but still...

I often take high levels into routine cause i like helping people out, the gold isn't much worth it but i know what it's like to be low level and stuck with other low levels and every fight is hard. :3 could've been me
