I love the game but.....

 

I have to laugh.... really there was such attention to detail in so many areas, and at the same time such a lack of attention to so many details in other areas....

I love the way my quizzy sits with her legs wide open, the way Cullen has his head permanently fixed to one side as he sashays to the war table in his hunchback boa fluff armor.

 

I just have to shut my eyes and pretend.

Ok, the Cullen thing is funny, lol, but why should your inquisitor sit with her knees together when she's wearing pants--and especially wneh she's wearing bulky armor. That would be uncomfortable if it's even possible. I mean, when do you see someone sitting with their knees together in jeans who isn't  fairly ancient?

The room is amazing. And I wish we coudl get a (DLC, maybe?) few nice extra cutscenes in there - maybe one or two after each major quest. Not necessarily sex - just playing the lute with Leliana, examining a scroll with Solas, checking out new outfit of Dorian's, maybe eating cookies with Josephine or just talking. It would be nice.

 

(bonus for the Inquisitor falling down that stair right on top of Sera. Because fun!)

I was upset that the Inquisitor chose to make love to Cullen in his "room" with this MASSIVE GAPING HOLE OVER HIS BEDROOM! Draft-y, seriously. I wish my Inquisitor could've spoken with Cullen about how cold it was as they were naked together, bloody hell I would've been freezing. Not as much fun when you are stuck under the covers, very little variation in what you can do.

 

I was actually more bothered by the pervy inquisition soldiers/messagers that walked by during the table scene.

5/8 of the LI's have sex/romance scenes are in your quarters.

It would be fun to sit down at the desk and write letters to various NPCs. It would take some of the tedium away from always going to the war table. Want to patch things up with Michel and Celene? Write a letter instead. Take issue with King Alistair's habit of wasting your advisors' time? Send him a sternly-worded reminder that they really better things to do than coach him through a party.

I wish we could customise the room some more beyond just the bed; maybe an option to have different carpeting/desk/bookcases/etc. And there's a lute there by the table, I didn't know I could play the lute so why don't I do that at the pub sometime.

 

Also, on the subject of LI and the bedroom. The first couple of times you sleep with Iron Bull, it happens in your bedroom but when it comes time to commit to him and present him with the dragon's tooth, you go to the room with half a wall, debris everywhere, and probably a disgustingly dirty bed, upstairs from the bar???

I may be the minority but i hated that room, way too big for my tastes and gives me this empty feeling.

 

 

The only places i really liked is Leliana and Sera's, esp Sera's was cozy and colorful.

 

I thought I was the only one who absolutely adored Sera's room. It's so atmospheric and luxurious. Same for Dorian's little library nook.

90% of women sit with their legs together because it's uncomfortable as hell to display your crotch to a room full of guys.

In the case of Cassandra's romance (the one I played completely already, so the one I remember the best) there's absolutely no romance or sex scene in your bedroom. None at all.

The upcoming $25 DLC will give all of us, all that was cut from the original design, include full customization of the Inquisitor's bedroom. At least, that is what my reading of the tea leaves tell me.

 

A PC friendly DLC, designed for KB+M controls is still murky. The tea leaves just aren't powerful enough to tell me that.

Interesting that the scenes are so short... starting with DA2. As someone else mentioned, what's the point of you can't bring your LI to your bedroom? ... more than once?

 

I've done the Cassandra romance. Quest Done!.... now she seems cold, uninteresting... you know.. back to work attitude. What a waste of my time.....

Just tossing a random idea out here, something I plan to include in a suggestion post I'm working on and a little bit more complex and meaningful than what I'm about to ask. But uhh what if you could read and respond to letters by sitting at the desk in you room? Fan and hate mail for the inquisitor! And other stuff....
