Some of us out there want the capability to tweak our game via the developer conosle. After doing some looking, it seems the standard configs that were used in ME1 are no longer there - and futhermore, the one config that even MENTIONS the console does not seem to clarify on how to enable it.
The key is bound within the Mass Effect 2\\BioGame\\Config\\PC\\Cooked\\Coalesced.ini, which mentions the
[Engine.Console]ConsoleKey=Tilde reference that we wanted to put in in ME1. It's already there, it seems, and bound to the proper key.
Wonderful, yes? Not so much. Attempitng to use a similar method to Dragon Age - their -enabledeveloperconsole target for a shortcut - didn't work, and it isn't enabled it seems by default. There must be a command I'm missing, or have the devs forsaken the whole console ordeal, and am I seeing only bits of code they copied over from ME1?

I seen a few threads about this, I know people are working to try and find the developer console but nothing yet. I'd also like to see this soon.

I have the same issue. In fact when you edit the Coalesced.ini file it corrupts the game. So I had to reinstall the game because I didn't think it would corrupt the game.
There must be a way to do it. Why would they not allow us to use the dev console. If we want to cheat or mod that should be up to us!
