Alchemist
I like her dialogue, and currently enjoying a flask of frost and twin fangs build.

Hunter
The hat looks awesome. Also spike trap is very amusing to watch enemies get flung into the air hahahaha.

Warriors-

Reaver
i enjoy dragon raging all the foes. And ripping into them. And rampaging.
love it.

Templar
wrath/purge. Trolls demons so good.

Mages-

Necromancer
Sidony is the bomb. Literally. I enjoy using walking bomb/WG/Frost step/horror. And her comments to the other characters can be amusing

Elementalist
Even without using firestorm, Rion is a powerhouse with some great dialogue.

Keeper
A fine character that has all the options to fill her role within her party.

Arcane warrior
Took a while for me to actually enjoy this character. Found Pull of the Abyss to be a bit buggy, however since changing to stonefist i enjoy AW much more.

For Ability List and Party Role: Keeper, can do almost everything possible for a Mage.

For Personality: Alchemist, without a doubt the most "fun" to play. Even her directional pad call-outs are awesome.

For Voice/Accent: Templar... cuz Scottish accent... Plus I here she's lovely.

For Character Model: Toss up between Katari and Arcane Warrior Upgraded Armor sets.

I've just tried giving the Templar my first shot and was surprised how much I like this class.

I thought it would be a rather boring run but I'm having fun and more success with her than Reaver. I seem to be more useful to my team as well when I'm a Templar (dmg output especially), and survive much longer. I think I'm saying goodbye to the two-handed characters for now. They were fun but are still too risky at the higher difficulties.

Belinda the Templar has an excellent personality. She's just so upbeat and energetic ("Go team!") that it's hard not to just be amused by her wry replies and Scottish brogue. Plus, nuking All the Things with Wrath of Heaven-->Spell Purge combo never ceases to entertain.

Rogue->Assasin, I love my archer types, but in every game I always play an assassin at some point

Mage-> Walking Bomb.... I mean necro..... okay its been my fave move since Origins, plus the ability to status enemies is just awesome.

Warrior-> Templar is fun to play, I've gone entire matches with full guard nearly all the time. Line in the sand, Shield Wall, and unbowed, nothing gets by me, still have to get wrath of heaven for stun and demon nuking.

Goes especially well with the first Arishok armour   I can't bring myself to use the higher level Arishok armours, as they don't match!

His spaulders are probably the ones upside down, as the banners etc in single player have the little square "up":  maybe this way it looks right way up to him as he looks at it?  

 

 

 

EDIT:  no i'm completely unsure now.

The throne flag's symbols are upside down.  The wiki page doesn't help, and shots from (the previous game?) show different again.  Why did you have to point this out...

My favorite ways to play in order

 

1 - Reaver - (Rampage - Dragon Rage - Devour - Ring of Pain)

2 - Katari - (Charging Bull - Mighty Blow - Pommel Strike - Earthshaking Strike)

3 - Archer - (Mark of Death - Longshot - Explosive Shot - Leaping Shot)

4 - Templar - (WoH/Purge - Bodyguard - Payback Strike)

5 - Necro - (Energy Barrage - Frost Step - Winter's Grasp - Blizzard)

6 - Keeper - (Barrier - Chain Lightning - Static Cage - Frost Step)

7 - Leggo - (Walking Fortress - Counterstrike - War Cry - Payback Strike)

8 - Assassin - (Hidden Blades - Twin Fangs - Flank Attack - Stealth)

 

Still working on a build for the Hunter - Alchemist - Elementalist that I really enjoy playing.  I have tried a couple different ways with each just haven't found what I enjoy with these 3 just yet.

 

I find the Arcane Warrior boring to play and it has been a chore to play him.

For kicking butt (on Threatening at least): Necromancer, Elementalist, Templar, Legionnaire, Reaver, Archer, Hunter, Alchemist

 

For support: dat Keeper

I thoroughly enjoyed the Legionnaire with Shield Wall. It was a lot of fun and a challenge managing your guard and stamina that way. Now that he has better gear, I've dumped Shield Wall, and it has just become a mindless task.

My personal favorites are: 

Katari - just because its fun to run everything into the ground. Also fun to play with C. Bull ring, HoK-ring and Sulevin. Also he is big.
Archer - Highest DPS, gets tons of kill streaks and lots of xp. Quick to level - and very good on perilous. I just love controlling the battlefield from afar. I compare it with an AD Carry in LOL.
Legionnaire - I once held of a group of darkspawn for two days.... the more enemies you get surrounded and swarmed by, the more you are able to survive. 

Assassin - mostly on high levels where you are practically an invincible killing machine, with low aggro value and I was never here. Constanst stealth. Whats not to like? I would really like it even more if that 25% movement speed when stealthed-dagger was a bit better. That would be awesome.

Least favorite class:

Arcane warrior - Everything about arcane warrior is boring. Their cookie cutter-build is boring, Soloing perilous is boring, People who play it are boring. Having people in your game who rushes for kills and think they are awesome for doing it are/is boring. And so on and so forth.

Race: Human male
personality: loves his fellow mages and only wishes to see them free

Ability set up:
Tank mage
Barrier
Firestorm
Fade step
Frost step

Why no firewall? . Ele is probably also one of my favorites - because of the control you can have over your enemies, but without firewall - you have less control. Firewall doorways, chokepoints etc, and you will prevent lots of damage on yourself and your group. Extremely usefull.

But I didnt mention Elementalist as a favorite at this point, because with DLC installed, if you use Firestorm you will bug out most games you ever play, which makes their imo best skill unusable, and therefore the character is for me unplayable.

I know some people say that their experience is that Ele's dont bug out games, but my experience is that when I play with Elementalists that use Firestorm, my completion rate drops by more than 50% because of the no key drop-bug. Even when I have soloed in lagfree games, for firekills - I get the bug which NEVER happen otherwise. And almost every Ele uses firestorm. It would be more ok, if you gain XP after leaving games where this happens, but alas - you dont.

If this wasnt the case, Elementalist would be top of my list for the control you have.

Unfortunatly Shield wall seems almost useless on Perilous, apart from that it really is one of my favorite skills. I feel so naked without it. You have constant maxed guard, prevent almost all kinds of damage, even Demon Commanders uppercut - if you hug a wall. It's great against brutes and Red templar commander f.ex., if you time your walls right (2 hits, wall, 2 hits, wall - it makes those enemies into guard-generators). It's also very usefull against enemies that gets stunned if you block them.

Again, it is in my experience almost useless on perilous, as on perilous blocking seems somehow completely ineffective and full guard gets completely removed by one hit from even a little mouse anyway... (
