It should include the basic information available in the Crafting menu, as well as any restrictions the crafted armour will have.

It's somewhat frustrating to spend significant gold on a crafted armour, only to get back to Haven and discover the Inquisitor can't even wear it because the restrictions weren't listed.

and while you're at it, let us see what the armor will look like before buying and crafting.

Not relevant to the point. I'm talking about an in-game UI mechanic, not saying that I plan to return DA:I.

that's what they should use power for , a place like the emporium that sells high level gear , schematics and runes so we would have something to spend the tons of unused power we have.

That's actually a good idea!

It is quite relevant: the buyer should beware what to buy in-game.

The interface is supposed to provide the information that I asked for. The fact that it doesn't is an oversight. PC players get most of the missing information, console players do not. I don't believe that the designers intended to introduce a deliberate mistake to the UI, simply to force the player to avoid purchasing things on the basis that they might get screwed (Golden Box notwithstanding, which clearly states that the player may get screwed.)

The result is the requirement that players save before schematic purchases, and reload and replay sections of the game after they have access to the information. There's nothing to "beware," it is simply pointless saving and reloading in a game that already has issues with how save games are dealt with because of autosave frequency.

Yes, if they hover the mouse over it, apparently they receive much of the info that console players don't have access to. I only know this from what others have reported, though. I have not played the game on PC.

Well that's kind of a crappy thing to leave out. :/

And I would like to add my vote to the wanting to be able to see what the armor/weapon looks like before I buy it. Because the menu could easily do without that huge crafting material diagram overlay that is pretty much redundant since the material slots are also listed in text right underneath. And my Inquisitor is RIGHT THERE behind it already.

I definitely get them on PS4. I understand that scars at least are absent in the last-gen versions though?

I legit just posted about this problem.  Shelled out 9k gold on Templar armor, only to find out it's restriced to Humans.  Not only am I out a ton of gold, but now I can't use my only Tier 3 schematic worth anything.

This has been an issue throughout my entire playthrough.

We also need either more options, or they should unlock the class/race stuff. I mean, we have our own forge and master craftsmen at our disposal, but I can't get that killer dalish armor adapted for anyone I want? They even let you see what the armor would look like if you could craft it for that person, but it's just a tease!

This, absolutely - and previewing looks would be very helpful, too. Just bought an expensive schematic for Varric only to find out he looks like **** in it.

PS: But i'm agree to differ: "Game-Corporations brings PC-games to cesspit. Becuase their eyes rested on lazy console-men."

Armor is meant to be functional, one really shouldn't give a crap how it looks.
