Or Anderfells. Let's hope that it's Tevinter & Anderfell. BW had already done 2 countries zone with DA:I. I would love to see Weisshaupt!

If the next game is set in Tevinter (we know it will be set somewhere in northern Thedas), Dorian would seem to be the obvious answer. Also it seems like he is one of the fan favorites from DA:I.

I too think DA4 will be set in Tevinter, so I'll vote for Dorian too as the "link". Perhaps not as a companion and definitely not as a romance option. I figured the reason Leliana wasn't a love interest this time is because she could still be in a relationship with the warden. Leliana will probably only have a cameo as a possible divine. Looks like any companion that can assume a role is out of the picture, see Alistair. He's king now that's the end of his glory. So bye-bye Leliana and Cassandra and Vivienne...

 

We haven't seen the last of Solas but he might not actually show his face.

 

I really hope Morrigan will be back again. But like Solas she might appear again much later.

Well whichever character they bring along I just hope Tevinter is relevant to the story, and we don't go there just because it's one of the places we haven't seen yet. I'd hate for what happened in Inquisition to be mostly irrelevant in whatever we will be up to in Tevinter.

 

I want a continuation of the overall story, rather than it be benched until it comes up as a major issue at the last second towards the end of the game.

Personally I have this theory that we're going to be seeing Flemeth as a companion in the next game. Let's be honest, this isn't the first time people were made to believe she'd been killed and she still managed to survive.

 

Now that she's been "de-powered" by whatever Solas did to her she would be able to join us as a normal companion without overshadowing the story, potentially. She would still be there to nudge history in the right direction, as she likes to put it, but without the power she once had she is forced to take a much more direct "hands on" approach.

I don't know who will be in the next game, but I know who I want to see. Dorian and Fenris. They would both be relevant to a Tevinter-specific game.

 

Just realized I really want those two to interact in the "Put two characters in a room" thread I created. The idea still stands.
