Hey all - so getting used to the game. So far, pretty awesome...

So, I playing as the horned character - and purchaed an Inquisition Foot soldier armor - requirments are level 2 and warrior. my character is level 3 and a warrior. Those are the only two requirements: warrior and level 2

When I click on details, it seems ok. When I go to eqip, however, it says 'eqipped by Kaaras (my character) but he's in his underwear.

When I put the item on Cassandra, she wears it, no problem. I am guessing Human only, but nothing in the examine field.

What am I missing? Or is this just a glitch?

Thank you in advance

You're certain that it is equipped though right? I mean it shows on his inventory tab as equipped? Your characters really aren't leveled until you spend their skill points either so I bet that's it. If not I would restart the game and see what's up. But no you would not be able to get to that point if it were human only... you'd get a message or a stalled attempt. I have a feeling it didn't make it to your character's body like you thought due to the skill point allocation thing. Another thought would be the helmet... They are only supposed to have their war paint, I don't know if normal helms work on them or cause errors if equipped.

Thanks - yes, it says 'equipped' whenever I view it, and by the character in question. Its not the helmet - gave that to my human companion. Weird, right?

Requirements are just the two: level 2 and warrior

Restarted and same....

I've noticed that helmets don't generally show up on Qunari. I assumed it was by design, but it could be a glitch too I guess. It'd be hard to fit a helmet over those horns.

Generally if you're looking to show off some awesome armor Qunari aren't your best bet. Better to go with another race. Qunari are more about pure brawn, they love showing off their muscles and those big horns.

ok, thanks.......! I dropped the extra money on the premium upgrade and received a nice piece of armor....but no worries. Don't expect him to wear a helmet, just armor from neck down!

Well in that case make sure you put the helmet on and change your general options to hide the helmets. It's there. :D That way you get the benefit of armor without hiding your character.
