So i was going to make a big thread with all the design choices, the good and the bad, and possible ways to fix the bad but im lazy so im gonna drop ONE idea for now.

War table:

Basically you do side quests to get power points and then you go to the table and your rewards are usually just more power points. So atm im sitting on 250 power points.

Also you have wait periods that make no sense and just pause your momentum for way too long. Like 7 hours or more in some cases. It makes no sense, you have a huge army with influence so big you get to judge ppl, decide the fate of entire guilds and groups, decide who the nexg divine is... but you have 3 generals or what ever they are who can only take care of one operation at the time.

Excuse me? Are you going to take care of said business personally? Because im standing right next to you. Hello..?

So heres how it should work:
You collect power points ( pp) and gain influence during your gameplay and you spend a decent ammount of them on your war table operations. But there is no timer anymore! Or should i say there is a timer but you can do more than one operation at a time with each general.

However, the more operations at a time that you do with a general the power points ammount that is required to do said mission increases. Because you then spread your general's troops too much and that can be costly instead of having a few "dedicated" groups who would do those missions and the rest can do their usual stuff.

So that panelty gets higher the more operations you do and it gets lower after a while and that timer is the mission's timer! :D makes sense, right?

...look i know i suck at explaining my line of thought 9 times out of 10 but just go with it...

Good suggestion - many, many operations have a "reward" that is no match for the time you wait for them to complete.

OR make the accumulated power a part of the ending. A powerful Inquisition endures, one that barely scraped by disappears.

Or you could so as I do. Set your war table missions off, then change your PC clock date forward one day. All missions complete instantly.

I would like to see the power points used for something though. I finished a play through the other day with nearly 200 left over and a totally clear war table.

I wouldnt recommend changing your clock frequently like that.. as for rewards, considering how eady and broken the game is the only good reward would be a story based one. Like that thing you get to break X's armor. Not that it made any visible change for me but i liked having the upper hand in theory.

already mentioned it in another thread , it would be good if you could use your overflow of power by using it to buy high level gear , schematics and things , from an emporium like place , maybe something like 50 power for purple inquisitor armour or 75 for the schematic , 25 for a superb rune and suchlike , just some way to spend the dammed stuff

If you want a "money sink" for your power just make an investment system where you can invest in a store or an area and as a reward the stores in there would have higher quality of items, since you protect the trade caravans or what ever. You also get some resources from that area every hour because you spent power to deploy troops in that area.

It also changes the way it looks, making it more fortified and protected and there would be more refugees there.
it also opens up new quests.

Im making it up as i write btw ><

Why not? Changing it forward one day, then back, then forward again and back. Please explain the issue?

just something i remember learning from a long time ago, also saw some comments from other threads around this forum talking about it. could be true, could be false, not taking chances.
