So what happens is this.

DAI CC:

And... how does it appear in game?

Mind you, that was after 15 hours... :? you should've seen the first ones.

Lighting difference, and camera angle. That's the only thing I could see that's different.

Still looks completely different to me. That's just it, I have *no idea* how to compensate for the (lack of) lighting in the creator, or the angles the game favors.

Can't guess how skin tone and complexion will look in game either. For my elf it turned out fine, for the human... not so much.

Welcome to the age where even fictional characters need to take 200 selfies in order to find a good one.

Lighting is everything. Photography taught me that.

I suppose I'm lucky I used the default female Hawke for all of my DA2 playthroughs... I did mod skin textures and such, but the default with no tattoo was not that hard to recreate in DAI... other than the hair of course.. that was disappointing. :(

Same with me. I recreated one of the few Hawkes I had, put some blush on her and what happens? It looks like she has a very long face and no cheek due to the lighting.

Weren't they promoting "neutral" lighting in the editor?
