All I'm going to say is that I was severely disappointed on how Alistair's face looked like. His face in the first game is the version I most antiquated with and prefer, the second game's face was droopy so I used a mods and inquisitions face/hair was just awful. I couldn't even recognize him. I know you can't do much about it now since his appearance was barley a cameo but this was just a feedback for future installments.

Yeah, Anora didn't look anything like her former self either but at least Alistair looks better than the chubby, half-melted candle face of DA2

Its been a decade since Origins and his face in Origins wasn't exactly high fidelity. Also, you're missing out if you make him King. If you make him King you get "How did I let the Warden talk me into marrying his harpy" Allistar. Not Swooping is Bad Allistar. Let him stay a Grey Warden for Swooping is Bad Allistar.

I agree with OP, Alistair is dumdown version of Cullen.

Just take a look at Morrigan how the dev made her pretty too.

I hope some modders will take pity on Alistair and make him better.

Anora's face was a bit off. The nose and chin weren't the same. I don't think eye shape was the same either. A default female Hawke looks nothing like the DA2 version. This version of Alistair is poorly designed. I agree that it should be done better. If BioWare won't do it, then they need to let modders have a go.

It's been 10 years. Alistair was like 21 in DAO and was barely an adult. His a grown man now who's got the stress of leading a blight recovering country. It's understandable his gonna look a bit different.

Warden Allistar is best Allistar.

 

One way or another Allistar had to get a face upgrade to fit in with the higher fidelity of DA:I over Origins and DA2. They seem to have gone with his look from the comics. In which case its spot on.

Well I think he looked perfectly fine. So much better than DA2. Wish I knew wha Zev looked like on the new engine. Hated how he looked in DA2.

That's exactly what I thought.  They were extremely lazy with Alistair's model.  It's Cullen's texture and model with a few tiny tweaks.

But they kind of were clones in DAO aside from the hairstyle.

They gave Cullen a good makeover differentiation in DA2.  They could have kept Alistair's original look with better textures and resolution instead of just tweaking Cullen's new look..

Yeah alright, compare him with Cullen who is arguably a similar age to Alistair and has gone through difficult years himself. Cullen is walking pixelated sex on a stick and looks the way that Alistair should have. 

 

Lelianna and Morrigan are drop-dead gorgeous, yet they've also aged a good decade.
