So I just got an Xbox One and want to play through DA:I again on the next gen system cause it looks and runs a thousand times better.

But I'm torn on a character creation choice!  I played Qunari males for both my last playthroughs on the 360, so I don't really want to do that again, cause even making different choices in game it still feels waaaaay too similar, no desire to keep going cause I've already seen it all, ya know?  So I'm either going male Dwarf or female Elf, both will be warrior cause I like that class the best.

The issue is the voice acting mainly.  For the Dwarf I'd go the deeper un-accented voice and that voice has been done very well in my honest opinion and it feels like it fits the whole way through the game.  As for the female Elf I'd go with the higher pitched and accented voice, Samantha Traynor's voice for anyone who remembers her from ME3, but even though I like her voice and it fits the character, it just hasn't felt right in game, at least for the first level and first time through Haven.

I dislike the other female voice, not sure why I just don't like it, and I would rather use a female character this time since I played male twice before, and my petite elf is the most adorable thing I've ever made and even more so swinging a massive greatsword around lol  So I just have a question for those of you who used this voice in your playthrough, does she ever improve?  Does she add more emotion?  Do her "funny" quotes actually start to be more funny and less quizitive all the damn time?  And when she's supposed to be angry does she eventually actually sound like it?  Or does she remain the same the whole way through?

Oh yeah, and for those of you who played a dwarf, did your race ever really make any impact?  Cause the Qunari choice had people stunned and reeling a decent amount of time, but it never really added much in the story.  I know playing a mage changes things a bit (which I do not want to do, or can even do as a dwarf lol) and I've heard being an elf gives you a couple different arcs when you meet other dalish and then later on in the game.  But does choosing Dwarf ever really amount to anything?

Alix Wilton Regan who voices the British accent inquisitor delivers exceptionally well on sarcastic lines. She has a few problems what's going on here line comes to my mind as well as some aggressive responds (they just weren't aggressive enough for me) I believe she is among the best voices for the Inquisitor.

Congrats on starting your 2nd playthrough. You're about to join the BIG LIST of DAI haters. Unlike DAO where different races had a big difference in gameplay, especially the beginning of the game, your playthrough with a dwarf or any other class/race is going to be IDENTICAL to your first playthrough.  No it doesn't make a difference at all! Play DAO if you want a different gaming experience for playing again and making different choices.

Meh, the differences in race for DA:O only really came to fruition during the quest related to your origin and then the very end.  There is no origin in this game really so expecting some differences on this magnitude is foolish, and the ending wasn't as much of an end as DA:O was anyway, felt more like a cliff-hanger then an ending to me, so I wasn't expecting much since even in DA:O the differences were subtle and you could infact bypass them all through dialogue choices.

Ofc the differences are minor, but honestly that's fine with me, and your over exaggeration of the amount of DA:I haters won't really dissuade me from my THIRD playthrough either.  So if you have such a beef with the game then I suggest either going to another thread meant for people to complain and bicker or simply get off your hated games forums.

So her sarcastic lines improve at least.  In the early stages of the game she doesn't even say anything sarcastic, unlike the male voices, and all the middle options for her are simply quizitive or concerned.  So that's good at least! lol

Sad she doesn't do aggressive well, the deep male voice is amazing with those in contrast XP

If you feel that way you haven't been paying attention in Inquisition. People acknowledge your race a lot more than in Origins where basically the first 30 minutes were different and then you could just quit and play what what you think looked best. There are multiple instances of people acknowledging that you are an elf for example in Inquisition, Josephine asking you about insulting commends, the nobles in Hallamshiral  that disaprove, the cleric in Val Royeu, the servants in Hallamshiral who talk only to an elven Inquisitor, the dalish in the exalted plains and the list goes on. In comparison how much difference does it make in origins except the first 30 minutes of the game?

Female Elf romancing Solas almost feels like the default option. Though human male romancing Cassandra is a close second.

You are correct, but the accent being used for that voice is considered the "news norm" across most of the north eastern united states and thus commonly referred to as a "non-accent."

Yeah I know that's wrong, I have a Canadian accent and hear them as having an accent every single day yet I'm the weird one, but it's just what I'm used to after so many years lol

Honestly if I did play through as a female character I would probably romance Sera, even if I was an elf and had the Solas option lol
