Hi all, trying to decide between a mage or rogue. I love the rogue armor, it kind of looks like this:
I love the chest the most, but the arms and legs are great too (I think I can get that later). Can you get that chest piece for mages before Emprise and late game, or is it only available much later?
That actually IS the set for mages, the Battlemage armor which you can get from the dog merchant at the Hissing Wastes.
Thats the battlemage set, you can make out by the pants.
Hmm always thought the mage one had a book.
Isn't hissing wastes kind of late in the game though?
Any armor the mage wears has a book, any armor the warrior wears has a horn, and any armor the rogue wears has a lockpick tool belt.
You can get to the hissing wastes as soon as you get to skyhold around level 12..13.. with a map of the merchants location you can get on your mount and ride there without encountering a single enemy.
I would love to turn the cloth parts orange on my battlemaster armour.
