My first playthrough, which I thought was going to be my 'cannon' playthrough was a Female Elf Rogue.
Yes, the game had lots of Elf lore so was very elf 'heavy' but .... my Dalish was so....I dunno....
I really liked her.
Second playthrough was a Female Human Mage. Ho hum.
Although playing a mage was kinda fun....but one and done with the mage route I think.
My current playthrough is a Male Qunari S&S.
Holy goodness I love him! I love the way he looks, the way he sounds....even love playing S&S. Which in the other two DA games was *OMG...boring*
But playing a warrior this time just feels...*meaty/weighty*
Also as a Qunari Tal-Vashoth I can play *ignorant* and it makes sense in-game.
And, the letters from your former merc company are gold. Pretty funny.
I'm pretty sure this Qunari dude is going to be my cannon play.
I haven't had issues with the armors, it was the same on my elf and human mage, I crafted armors and pretty much stuck with them for the rest of the game, maybe changing out the arms and legs if I got some material to craft something for better stats. (Elf mages have the best looking armor)
