I think what really make the Male Elf body model feel strange is not the chest...is the fact that the shoulder are almost inexistant. And the arms have a strange position. I hope it is a bug...

Well, for easier comparison here's both models side by side:

 The body looks fine, i think it's just the way the shoulders are narrowed in-game and the arms collapse

My elf looks girly in the face, not for his chest. I was just pointing out what my roommate commented for chuckles.

Skyhold pyjamas must go.  For everyone.  There is no excuse for that hot mess.

 

The male elf has bugged animations that must be fixed.  Again, no excuse for that hot mess.

Well, I got a mercenary coat and the glued arm bug went away when that's equipped but comes back if i re-equip the scout mail. I think the mercenary coat must use a different body model/skeleton.

The male elf chest is rounded and breast-like and he has no muscles anywhere that would suggest that his chest is just muscular pecs. Even if he did have a muscular chest, he doesn't have muscles anywhere else and that looks super weird in itself.

The male elf chest is rounded and breast-like and he has no muscles anywhere that would suggest that his chest is just muscular pecs. Even if he did have a muscular chest, he doesn't have muscles anywhere else and that looks super weird in itself.

Yes, it's rounded and breast-like which is normal.



you can see comparison here of the body mesh with similarly sized guy. The shape looks to me quite spot on (the elf is, if anything, less pronounced) which makes reading these complaints a bizarre experience.

edit: regarding the muscles, keep in mind we pretty much only ever see him naked in the sex scene, and his arms look pretty lean to me there. I think it's more of, some presume he doesn't have any muscles based on his frail appearance, where it doesn't at all have to be the case, as shown by the picture of female athlete in the matching thread.

It's weird how those meshes look so normal and yet in-game the male elf looks so disfigured. I wonder if the elf specific clothing makes them skinnier or if it's just a result of the head-to-body size ratio and broken arm glitch.

Yeah male elf arms/shoulders/bodies are way too thin. I hope they change this
