Turn dialog volume all the way down. It's helpful for all characters, not just the females.

Once I figured this out... sadly much later that I honestly should admit... I was much better off.

I honestly was about to throw that bloody ham they had back at camp down to where I held off Darkspawn in the Deep Roads for two days with a blue parakeet while in a snow drift after I met Divine Justinia only once, but I doubt my life will every go back to how it was before my skills were never so tested in my life whilst selling that wyvern head for good money. *groans*

I just had a new video idea...

I honestly agree id prefer female hunter and male templar. I am also pushing for this idea in my thread The Unofficial Multiplayer Feedback And Suggestion Thread.

Would you rather have a different gender of the same class, or an entirely new class?

I know which one I would prefer.

The idea of giving personality to the characters wasn't necessarily a good one. I would prefer more neutrality. I wanted to imagine my Templar as a badass crusher of demons and rebel mages, but she sounds like an adorable Scottish girl. It really doesn't match her.

The Reaver is still a pretty good though. It could be worse. It could be like the Alchemist.

Some customization would be nice, let us play with hair and makeup a bit, pick between a male and female version of each, or maybe just give us three cards where we can customize a unique char, looks, what sorts of armor they where, and have a pick of several skill trees for there class, you can pick like... 2 out of whatever and they're themed, assassin, arcane warrior... Ranger, blood mage, yadda yadda

No clearly we're doing this Korean lobby based action MMO style.

If you're very lucky they'll make a reverse gender version with different base stats and almost the same skills. They will also inexplicably be wearing anachronistic medieval "daisy dukes."

Metal platekinis and combat high heels.  Please do not do this.  The horror.

Could be worse. They could be wearing a shiny green leotard.

OP are you having flashbacks of all those times other gamers told you that you "play like a girl"? I could see if you were complaining about the Alchemist VO. It's not that serious bruh. TBH the game doesn't need more diversification as much as it needs more muscle, butt and boobage. These models look like the stick figures I used to draw as a kid when I played Hangman.

Refer to Iron Bull's take on Cassandra's armour.

Probably would not use the word adorable to describe her... she often comes off as slightly psychopathic.. way too cheery that it is almost creepy. Kinda like those "creepy things kids have said" posts you see on the web..

First we need to figure out who is going to pay for it. Models, textures, voiceover and I dunno what. Better ask the guy who spent 400 bucks on chests if he wants it or not ;)

If it was ever raised as a community goal, and we could see the results pile up similar to Kickstarter, I would start spending cash like there was no tomorrow :P

Not that I mind the VO for the Templar currently, but I would appriciate a male version as well.

Waste of model work and voice recording, we'd be much better off with new classes.

I don't much care about their genders.  Some of the personalities are mildly annoying, but then again anything starts to get mildly annoying when they say the same things 600 times.

For what it's worth, I have been noticing an uptick in varied conversation and even "new" dialogue with less repetition as of this weekend. Makes you wonder how many hours of dialogue is recorded for each. Oh, one I noticed last night from the Archer to the Templar after she made a comment about the Inquisition's cause being just while racking up mace kills: "Sometimes your faith is a little scary, Belinda." It was pretty cool to hear them using their character names. Also worth noting that MPCs are used in some of the Ops missions in SP.

Eh. I thought the same at first and wished they had gone with male/female versions of characters, but with the dialog involved I can understand why they would limit the number of genders. Still, I do miss having the option.

I can solve this entire gender issue: make them all Asari.

Asari are technically genderless (the bewbz are just a genetic coincidence.)
