Hah, I guess that's true. Unless the Inquisitor turns into one of those Bridezillas who spends months obsessing over every tiny detail of their wedding day. On the other hand, that could be hilarious.

Honestly? I thought you got out of line when you compared your desire for a marriage plot with the struggles of the LGBT community. But that's a different discussion all together.

I can see it now: a series of war table missions where you use the Inquisition's resources to get everything you want.

But I never did that. Not in my thread, not in this thread, not in any thread. But yeah, this thread isn't for that discussion. To be honest, this thread should probably be left alone.

I'd say she's very.... surprised about the proposal. Not shocked or even laughing about it, at all.

Dear god, why am i still arguing.

Aww that was actually kind of cute.

Her spiting was hilarious.

I got what you said. This goes back to my original point of wanting it to actually be in the games. I am tired of headcanoning, especially when for most of their romances I can't even do that much. And the same can be said about sex in general: What's stopping the characters from having sex not discussed or shown in the game? The answer is because some people want to see that part of the relationship occur. But Bioware has shown they have a clear preference for which mindset to do, so until that changes I will give negative feedback about the situation.

You know, I will actually agree that it's a little weird that your character has to have sex to continue the relationship. Your only option, if you don't want to have sex, is to break up with your LI. I don't think that's really reasonable. There will probably be a minority of players who would choose not to have sex and Ferelden and Orlais seem to be just fine with premarital sex and gay/bi relationships. I think it's a perfectly valid RP choice, in addition to it being a valid personal choice. Just as long as the decision-maker realizes that it is a personal choice.

As I understand it, you don't sleep with Josie and you can tell Dorian you'd rather wait which results in no sex with him, either. If they want to include a character that requires marriage before he or she will climb into your bed, why not? Vive le difference! I simply don't see whythat preference leads to moral judgment of NPCs you aren't romancing, as it certainly has done in this thread.

Most likely.

Well, I don't think someone should mock you for it if that's what you mean. If someone is against the idea, I think they should try to handle it delicately since it usually takes a lot for someone to work up the nerve to ask that.

Her reaction doesn't match your suggestion that she is for it in my opinion.

Yes, yes she does. Her reaction reminded me of those people who spit their drink out when finding something funny. Hence me saying as such about it.

I don't know. I have no control over what you type and respond to.

No, not really since this was only one example I gave about this.

But from the tone in your latest posts, I think we should desist in talking about this.

Feeling that maybe you're not the best at reading body language from this. Can you not see the amount of affection on her face - and in her voice - here? Nowhere does she even vaguely imply that she's against marriage. Quite the opposite, in fact.

This! So much this. Making a relationship work is not about what legal status you have or the ceremonies that you've been through. It's about love and respect, it's about being there for each other, it's about working together too solve the issues that you may face. And if anyone tells me that just because I'm not married, I'm not in a truly committed relationship then I just shake my head. Because they have no freaking clue about what they are talking about.

Most marriages these days end in divorce rather quickly...

Probably because a lot of people rush into them because they've seen too many Disney films. :P

Aye, that is unfortunately true. Disney and Hollywood are responsible for the over hyped expectations about twu wuv and marital bliss that some people seem to have. But I'd rather people divorce than stay in unhappy marriages.

I'd rather not blow hundreds of dollars in marrying and divorcing a woman I've just been dating for less then a year personally. :P

That is a very sensible attitude!

Hmm, you may have a point here. I hadn't considered my difficulty in reading body language due to being autistic translating to virtual media since it has never really occurred before due to virtual media relying on being visual hence the intent of a person is made clear through voice and body language.

Depends where you live, really. Some places yes, some places the rate is practically nonexistent despite it being available as a perfectly acceptable option.

The guy tried pegging

Granted he didn't like it but still that's a man who is pretty confident and experimental in his sexuality.

Iron Bull is pansexual!

... and he is very much an, ahem, man-ho. He does make it known the Qunari do not have sex for love; it's more of a necessity. Heh, still laughing over the Tamassran "healer" comment. Still, I can see what you mean as far mainly commenting on women, particularly on his redhead preference. This made me jealous, especially since there really is no proper red option for hair. Maybe he just really, really likes chesticles---who doesn't? However, I suggest you include Dorian and Bull in your party at the same time for some naughty banter. If your Inquisitor is not romantically involved with Bull, he will claim the charming Vint all for himself.
