So when a company hires you, you aren't actually a member of that company?

When a country or organization hires a freelancer, they become part of that force until the contract expires.

No, I compared having sex to the use of substances. Both make the person feel good and both can cause someone to become addicted. Whether you are having casual sex or only with your spouse, the chances are the same.

Last I checked, there are three dialogue options that say "Dorian will join the Inquisition." Dorian wants to help by joining the Inquisition.

And the Chantry sister and kitchen staff are definitely part of the Inquisition. Everyone there minus a few guests are part of it. I'll give you the noblewoman though since it was a Codex entry so who knows when it was written.

If they want to go to the nearest town and hit up a brothel, fine. It's only when they sleep with other members that a superior can step in. With companies it is usually by firing them if they don't stop and if military there are punishments.

Last I checked though, so long as the relationships don't impact the work efficiency, its allowed.

And Dorian and Bull are still just as good as they were before having sex.

In fact, I'd say Bull having lots of sex probably improved his morale. Which is only a positive thing. ;)

Idk, i can easily see a Quizzie who was like that. I think if Big Tex, my Trev, heard about Bull he'd give him a talking to about how being a scoundrel when you're young is okay, but they're adults, and he needs to focus on the task at hand and stop bedding servant girls.

I mean I don't personally agree with Big Tex, he's intentionally a character created as my opposite, but he's not a BAD leader, just a bit patronizing and controlling. So I would support that as a dialogue option, even though I would only take it on my dirtbag PT. But iirc, that only comes out in a conversation if you're sleeping with him, right? So it would be pretty hypocritical for any Quizzie to say "not acceptable to sleep with subordinates/have casual sex during this crisis" etc when it's exactly what they're doing, lmao.

OK, I'm confused. I said 'so people who don't get romantically attached to their partners should never have sex?' and you responded by saying that sex could be addictive. Are you saying people should have sex at all, causal or otherwise?

You asked that with the added question of 'otherwise they would become sex addicts?' to my post saying of course they enjoyed sex with The Iron Bull because sex is supposed to be enjoyable.

I think unable to walk right impacts work efficiency.  ;)

No, there are mentions of The Iron Bull's escapades before any romance is started with him. That's why I said it should come up as a dialogue option like addressing Cole's acts of random kindness does. If you can tell Cole to stop giving cats mint, you should be able to say something about The Iron Bull's behavior.

Bull is an independent contractor. If a company hires another company to help them out with something, that doesn't mean that the hired company is merged with the one that hired them. If I'm the owner of a bakery and need to have my kitchen renovated, I'm hiring another company to do that work. It doesn't mean the people of that company are my employees all of a sudden.

No, that's not how it works. If the relationship doesn't affect their work or the workplace, then the employer has no reason to give a damn about it. Or at least that's how it works where I live.

Oh, are they? I must have missed that, shrug. Well, there are so many little things we learn that we can't follow up on, that's pretty low on my list, but I still would be cool if it had been there. Anything that lets you feel like your Quizzie is more interactive than reactive is A+ for me. Hella would have given him a high five, tbh.

I think Dorian walked normal as ever, and Bull is never the one that has to worry about walking funny.

I'm more concerned about the curtains getting set on fire. I mean, that's Inquisition property! Those drapes aren't free.

I also hope they never do it in the canvas tents while we're in the field, because that could end badly.

How do you find that out? Banter? I didn't get any. :( was it an offhand comment he made? I might have missed it...or if it's said during background convos in the tavern, I missed a lot of those, because it have hearing problems which make it so I have to use subtitles, and the songs cut through a lot of the convos there.

Or I'm just daft and I totally forgot it, could be! But I don't remember knowing about that until I saw his romance vids.

It might be easily missable. It seems like a random chance thing because it's one of many variations of things he can say when you approach him at the tavern. it's something like "I don't understand how those tavern girls can be so lively after the night we had..."

Except unlike the kitchen renovators, mercenaries still fall under a chain of command structure.

But it does affect their work in the workplace in this scenario.

Yes, there is the lay sister in Haven and then the tavern girls in Skyhold.

I wasn't referring to Dorian.

It's one of his random starting response when you talk to him. It's something about a threesome and him being surprised that the cooks are still up after the night they had. After that I had to confirm what he said and I went to the kitchen and there are two females on the kitchen. They didn't say anything, but still... they are there

How does it affect their work? How does it damage the Inquisition? If anything you have people who're happier because they had a relaxing and good time. I don't see why the Inquisitor would have any reason to care at all?

Edit:

Regarding the mercenaries: Yes, and that's why he doesn't fraternize with the Chargers. Because they are under his personal command. The serving girls, lay sisters and Dorian are not.
