Okay, I'm sure people have mentioned this before but can we have some bear realism?

First, grizzley's (which these have to be because a party of 5 hacking, slashing, and using magic takes 20 minutes to kill) are predators and don't hang in packs.  I just walked through 4 bears consequtively to get to a spot on my map.  They'd be attacking each other for space.

Also, why isn't this Bear Age origins?  It's like I can't avoid being attacked by supernatural bears with powers like that of a dragon.

Because it's a RPG. Things are like that.

And why the Bears aren't in DAO? Well, why are you even playing these games? *roll eyes*

Sorry Zobert, but the base design of the game is endless trashmob respawn that happens every second. Bears, wolves, hyenas, spiders, it really doesn't matter. And seems that won't change unless someone finally makes norespawn mod so the most annoying thing in this game gets removed.

This is my feedback to the company.  I paid money for every game like you do.  I am allowed to have an opinion on what I find useless about this game I spent $60 on.

I said it should be Bear Age: Origins because I feel like all I'm doing is fighting bears, not why aren't bears in Origins.  Please read prior to your snark, Spidey.

I dont' know about you but $60 is still a lot of money to me.  I paid that instead of buying used because I assumed this would be a great Bioware product like DA:O and DA:2

And this is a open forum as well. If the bears makes the game not worthy of your $60, that's strangely fine, but again, don't feel attacked when someone tries to make some sense of it. But like you said, it's your opinion.

Lol Zobert, I did think the same as you, those bears can be a little 'unbearable' hehe

I remember in Skyrim being ambushed by a crab and it nearly took me down, it was super hard to kill. My husband also had trouble with the crabs too so at least I didn't feel quite so silly.

For me it adds a little silliness and charm to the game, but I know it can be annoying and hard to 'bear' for anyone not playing on easy :D

It's an open forum but this is also the "Feedback" section, where people can say things to the developers.  You chose to say things to me

If you think there are enough bears, say you like the amount of bears.

I assume you like the number of bears in the game, then?

Get out of the Hinterlands.

I didn't put up a summer home there.  I've been to other areas.  My point is the spawning of bears and the fact that for some reason they're harder to beat than a squad of mercenaries.

You disagree, however?  You like all the bears.  Some people like bears.

And I did.

The amount of bears you mean the always on respawn? If so, I don't mind it, but I can see where you are coming from.

Yes, that is what I meant.  I just walked past 6 bears.  Six.  Not two.  Six.  I couldn't believe it.  That's nuts.

In the Hinterlands I did find fighting the bears time consuming and somewhat annoying especially after fighting 2 and your out of health pots and suddenly a 3rd attacks.

I now look for ways to go around Bears if I see one in front I'll go left, I only fight them if I have too now.

What I don't like, you pointed it as well, is how much of time that It takes to kill them. That's...weird for a character that kills darkspawn and much more. If you a have horse , it should be much easier to avoid them.

Bears - gotta love them.

I remember on my first playthrough with a DW Rogue coming across an area in the Hinterlands that was bear city.  It was really exciting & challenging to take on multiple bears at once.

I like when bears are big badasses in games, why should fictional animals get all the fun mauling me to death?  :P

Of all the things to whine about... This guy chooses "The bears! They're not realistic enough!"... When Bioware browses the feedback section, I wonder how often they just break into laughter xD

Eh, he's got a point.  It's a minor issue at best, but there were times when I would just fight a chain of bear after bear after bear.  The only time I've ever had to run away from a fight in the entire game was during a five bear ambush in the Hinterlands.  Went back after a few levels and slaughtered those little bastards.

Well, if they were those darkspawn bear things that would make sense, but come on.  Six bears in a row, they use up your health before you can get to where you're going.

I like bears. I used to sleep with a stuffed one.  I think bears are awesome.  I just don't think they'd be 6 in a row.  That's like a bear colony.

Let me see, I walking around in a world gone mad because of a mage vs templar war, a Cory loyalists vs the world war, and, there are giant holes in the fade which allw demons and spirits to come and go at will and, I actually expect wildlife to behave normally? I think I need my head examined. Actually they are more normal than I would expect given the situation and state of the world.

3-4 bears in an area is hardly a problem. Either kill them or, hide a few moments until they wander off.

Why don't we just have the bears shoot fireballs at us then?  There are as many bears in the Hinterlands as there are goats in many places.  I wish they'd asked for bear meat in the village instead of rams.
