Then again, the Shattenjaeger way was said to only include three trials in the life of each Ritter. While I know that's a bit of an easily ignored part of the lore, it did seem to explain that Gabriel'a adventures were at an end. Besides, it wasn't THAT much of a cliff hanger. Obviously, Grace's note said she was dressed up in sexy lingerie and going to hop out of the closet behind him in just a second... right?
