This post is for the dev team specifically, but the general public may appreciate it as well.

A little bit of background on me first. I have been gaming for as long as I remember, and have been enjoying Bioware games for over a decade. I am an extremely active guy in my 20's whose main hobbies have been video games, racing triathlons, and running marathons. During the summer of 2014 I began to feel off balance and foggy headed. This gradually progressed to the point of where I could no longer walk in a straight line, and have a mess of issues ranging from severe anxiety and panic attacks to mass twitching in my eyes, face, lips. My eyes and head hurt, and I feel motion sick most of the time. I constantly feel like I am falling over and have had to completely stop my life as it was.

No more running, biking, swimming... The impact of being physically disabled like this has taken a major toll on me both physically and emotionally. I have difficulty watching tv because the camera movements make me ill, and I have become extremely sensitive to loud noises. Basically now I spend most of my time in my room by myself, doing the best I can to play guitar, piano, and video games when I can manage. I have been dealing with these issues for almost 6 months now.

Annnd now to the point of this post.

Dragon Age took me around 100 hours to complete. I received the platinum trophy this morning after collecting the last of those damn shards lol. During those 100 hours, I probably "lived completely" inside the world of Thaedas for at least 25 of them. That is to say that during those 25 hours, I forgot the real world, I forgot what it felt like to be so sick, to be so panic stricken and depressed. That first dragon fight was exhilarating. When I finally beat him and I snapped back to the real world, I was amazed how deep the game pulled me in. I cannot express enough how thankful and grateful I am for being gifted a break from the real world during those hours. You took my pain and suffering away for a short time and it means the world to me. You've helped me survive through one of the toughest times of my entire life.

Thank you sincerely and I eagerly await whats next to come from you all.
