Cassandra uses the Templar tree, Solas the Rift Mage, Dorian the Necromancer etc etc, with just some crappy little paragraph giving some crappy explanation as to why they use the same skills you do. I'd of expected them to have unique skills, Cassandra having Seeker abilities, Solas having Elven magic, Dorian using unique Tevinter abilities and such. I also find it rather disappointing that as a Mage you are given the generic fire/ice/lighting options.. I mean being the first to a Dalish clan I'd expect my Inquisitor to have some magic unique to, you know.. Dalish clans? But nope, same crappy generic spells that a Human Circle Mage uses. 

I don't think I need to go too much into armor choice, as it's been debated to death already.. But i'll just say, it's the same as skills.. Same stuff throughout each race/class bar 3-4 unique pieces here and there. I shouldn't have to say just how lackluster this is in an "RPG".

Customization is basically a combination of what I've mentioned above, there's nothing unique about your inquisitor except his/her crappy armor choices & glowing hand


My only issues with an otherwise great game, it's just when playing an RPG these issues turn into pretty big ones.
