Cassandra, Mother Giselle and every other accent from a real country (in a fantasy world, duh!). You should pick actors who doesn't make such stereotyped pronunciation, it's annoying hearing the French accent in English, nobody speaks like that, come on. (As a French speaker, I can tell)
That's all I had to complain for now (except the whole EA stuff)

It's very strong. It sounds a little off to me (native French speaker) but I can't put my finger on why.

I don't know if her accent is "not from a real country" but her VA is from Norfolk, England.

Giselle and Isolde are the most egregious offenders. They should be shot and subsequently burned.
Not only is Josephine the prettiest but she has an accent that pleases the ear; I do not wish to cut off her head and throw it in the fighting ring in my courtyard.
I thought they'd used proper accents for DA:I apart from Cassandra, only accent i found weird was Leliana tbh, she sounded more english then french compared to her DA:O self IMO

I thought so too, and it can be jarring that nobody talks like Cassandra, except for Leliana having the same lisping but I like her voice regardless. It has a lot of character.

I believe you, but there is a limit between making an accent and making the character annoying :-P
I was glad to hear more of Stephane Cornicard (Riordan, Stroud, Frederic of Serault, etc.) doe. I love his voice. I especially liked it with the more aloof Frederic. :S
I pretty much cannot stand Orlais. This game was particularly weird with the masks/masques. WTF?
I just wish we could burn down all of Orlais.

Yeah, was just more difficult for me to actually notice it, im guessing Corinne Kempa has spent alot of time in english speaking countries since she doesn't seem to have as strong of a french accent as before
Might be somewhat deliberate to reflect the whole half Orlesian/half Ferelden thing. Leliana spent a lot of time in Ferelden too, similar to her actress in the UK if I recall. So thus her accent is softer.
That's my take on it, anyway. I always thought her accent sounded thickest in Leliana's Song.
Don't get me wrong, I love Cassandra's accent. Doesn't annoy me at all.
And Giselle's accent isn't what annoys me, it's just her in general. Haha
