I love Morrigan and i'm pretty happy about how everything turns out. She's a sweet mommy right now. It was awesome to see the change in her personality, and to know that my warden was responsible for it. And OP, you seriously wanted the main villan to be a 12 year-old who doesnt even exist in a lot of scenarios? Thats a high dose of stupid right there...

I said I wanted her and him to be in it. If he had the powers of a God. Again saying that's a high dose of stupid is your opinion. I'm careful with my words not to say everyone loved her. To say something in absolute is like stating it as fact. It's not fact. Its your opinion tied as fact.

She's the single most promoted person in Dragon Age for a reason.

What I'm saying is for every one person that dislikes her. Their are ten more that like her. How else do you explain all this promoting of her if people weren't buying it.

Theirs an old expression.

Give the fans what they want.

To me. She is on the reasons DA: Orgins had such great success.

Her story line was so compelling.

Not careful enough apparently.

I'm not really seeing your point to the poster above me. When this game was first announced at a fan fair. They had a trailer with Morrigans voice as the main attraction with her slowly walking towards the camera. She was popular enough to get her own DLC in DA: Orgins and I said she is "one of the reasons" not "the" reason orgins had such great success.

People really liked her. I'm not really seeing anything that I said that wasn't true.

Let me refresh your memory of the trailer back in 2013

Where is that Arishok 'no' gif, when you need it?

There are so many other things we need focused on - in DLC or in future games.  Morrigan, yeah her story is unlikely finished given the Well (if she drank from it), but really - there are bigger and better things Bioware could focus rather than giving Morrigan more attention.

We all have our own opinions. Mine is just that her story line wasn't finished. It needs more attention. Or maybe their saving that for the next game. Yes. There are hundreds they could expand on. I'm sure we all have different theory's about which one. Mine is just her storyline. I thought in this game we'd get the answers we wanted in orgins in this game.

I guess not.

I'm down with any of these characters being in an upcoming dlc.

1.) Bethany

2.)HoF

3.)Hawke

4.)leliana

5.)Morrigan

I'm fine with not seeing any of the others again.

nah id rather have a solas dlc. Im super over morrigan i never found her story particularly interesting considering i didnt go through with the DR and i didnt let her drink the well of sorrows. The only thing she had enough knowledge about is elven history, other than that shes a pretty average mage in my book.

Morrigan has had more then enough attention, the OGB plot is finished. They tied it up in DAI, so that there is no longer an OGB, at all, period. Keiran is now a normal kid no matter what. All of the Orgins LI (barring Zevran) have had more then enough attention, it is time to

I'm thinking she'll be saved for whenever we deal with Solas.

Of course they are going to put a well-known character in the trailer to get the existing fans a connecting thread to a new story. Solas was the main character of DA:I and he above all needs a DLC for some answers. I think Flemeth (the witch not Mythal) is done too, which I'm fine with since she was in the previous 2 games. I agree, for all of the people that didn't do the dark ritual and didn't romance Morrigan it doesn't seem like  good use of their resources to do another DLC about her.

Or, they could make DLC that would actually give everyone a reason to care about it instead rather than a chunk of people.

I'm all for a DLC expanding on Solas, for instance, but I think it should be done in a way that isn't just 'buy this DLC cause everyone wants Solas right? Sweet Lavellan/Solas reunions? Right.' I'm all for a DLC tying up loose ends with the Warden, but I don't think it should be done in a way that's just 'buy this DLC for fanservice and nostalgia! Your Warden is dead? Uhhh...' I'm all for a DLC that has Morrigan in it, but not one that's basically just 'buy this DLC cause eveerrrryone wants more Morrigan! Look at all this nostalgia! Look at this OGB! Wait, you don't have an OGB! Well...phooey. Look at all these romance references! You romanced her right? Well you should have!'

Yeah, no.

 I'm all for that. I'm a sucker for Warden/Morrigan.

Good for you? I'm a sucker for Warden/Leliana myself, but I'm not going to ask for DLC that might as well be tailored to it specifically that only people who did that will have much, if any, investment in.

Based on the events of Inquisition, if anyone warrants a DLC it's definitely Solas. Perhaps another centered on who gets elected Divine. We've had loads of Morrigan content, I don't want her to turn into the Liara of Dragon Age, let others have the spotlight.

Well, I'm thinking of what I want not what the majority or whatever wants.

I would be very happy with a Morrigan DLC.

Morrigan will most likely appear in future games if she drunk from the well. Solas/Flemeth whoever it is, won't allow her to not serve them when they try to takeover the world, to make it planet of the Elves.

That spot goes to Leliana.

It doesn't need that she is the central character on the DLC. A companion or adviser is enough.

Morrigan is my favorite character in the entire franchise; that said, however, I don't think dedicating an entire DLC to her is necessary. If she's with the Warden, she's returning West post-Corypheus to hang with her boo and find the cure for the Calling. If she's a mother and with the Warden, she's returning west to hang with her boo and her other boo to find a cure for the Calling. If she's childless and Wardenless, she's off hunting down forbidden knowledge or whatever.

If anything, a Calling DLC would be the 'Morrigan DLC', and she'd probably just be a peripheral character, or a secondary one at best. She's done with her biz, brosef.

Conclusively:

Would I like a Morrigan DLC? Hell yes. Do I need one? No, because her part is essentially done in things for the time being. And not everyone had her drink from the Well.

In the end, it's what Bioware wants to do.

I don't mind her being in a DLC (though I've heard many complain about her being in DAI) but the only character that should have a DLC dedicated to them is Solas. If Morrigan drank from the well she could have a meaningful role in any story DLC that will come, but I can't imagine them doing a DLC about her. How will it connect to the story of the Inquisition?

Polarized preferences always make themselves known once another person expresses  their own. I join you in a degree of ardor for Morrigan. She was the original companion that I romanced most often, and my frustration over her having a mere "cameo" in Witch Hunt was lessened by her return in Inquisition. I would have loved seeing her in a larger capacity within the new game, but am quite satisfied with how she was utilized. You can set your world state to experience the OGB and see that storyline brought to its basic conclusion, and there are a couple of variations within it. Fun stuff!

As for a potential Morrigan dlc, all that I can say is "hell yes, bring something like that on!" Whether Bioware does or not, remains to be seen, but she does provide the closing narration[s] and that alone suggests a world of possibility?

If we're just asking for DLC about characters we like, then I'd like to have Merrill back, please. And Shale. And more than thirty seconds of screen time for King Alistair that you only see if you go with the mages. Morrigan and Leliana got DLC for Origins already, it's time for absolutely anyone else to get one.
