I am having this problem too (on xbox one). 

 

I think it's a larger EA issue.

 

Blame Battlefield Hardline.

 

...and there I was too thinking "ahhh, DAMP server issues... okay I will go play some BF Hardline... oh great, same thing..."  what's worse is I looked up BFH server status on the interweb, and their technical support says "if you are encountering problems connecting to BF Hardline, it's because we don't have enough servers.  We're gonna add some.. honest"  seriously?  Why put out a beta and yet not provide adequate services for players...?  I am not sure which is worse: BF4 beta playable but freezes a bunch or BFH which is stable but not enough servers?  To quote the Archer "I uh...wow..."

 

I think CEO's need to play these games and see what the player base has to deal with.
