Upon first launch of the game I'm prompted to sign in, which I do, then I'm prompted to "enter product key" which I do, when I click the submit button I'm left staring at the activation window background image of a krogan and nothing further happens.  I've left it sitting for more than 30 minutes at this point.

I am assuming this is an issue with the activation servers?  Is there a workaround?  Is there an ETA on resolving the issue? You've got my money but I still don't have a playable game.

If it makes a difference I purchased my copy from Direct2Drive and have checked, double checked, and triple checked the product key.

Still happening to me - been sitting at blank activation screen for 30+ minutes after entering product key.

I guess the motto is going to be try try again. Perhaps in the future they will allow those that pre-ordered and digitally downloaded to pre-activate to free up some bandwidth.
