Expecting some sort of dev response to community this Monday.

Now breaks are over and it's time to respond to the communities concerns.
You left MP a huge buggy mess with the dlc right before you all took off for vacation and haven't even been considerate enough to just say, "hey we are aware of the issues and intend to fix it as soon as our staff is back." Instead all we are left with is crickets. No response, no accountability, no communication.
I'm sure you guys have patches and ideas that are being worked on behind the scenes but you have to let us know that there's work being done. Like I said before a simple acknowledgement of the issues would suffice. We have faithfully bought this game and we are in the very least entitled to a working game.
Holidays are over, it's back to work for everyone including myself. Talk to us bioware.

Do they really need to post that they are working on patches...? What else would they be doing at this point...
I'm sure the patches will come once they're finished. It takes time to track down problems, implement solutions, get things through testing, etc... Last thing they should do is release something in a hurry that will cause more problems.
I'm sure we'll get something soon! ![]()

This complaint only makes sense if someone hasn't figured out how to tilt the camera.Yes there's plenty to fix in SP. I know someone who genuinely wanted to play tactical cam all the way through but can't because the camera can't zoom out. Dragon are too big and in doors are too close.
I usually have my camera nowhere near a dragon so I can see the whole thing, but that is something we can already do.

There are many general issues and single player stuff that needs to be talked about b4 the multiplayer
I'm almost positive that the single player development team has almost nothing to do with the multiplayer development team, so prioritizing single over multi shoudn't be a relevant concern.

creating dlc for micromilking transactions. or just completely left it and making ME4.
Wouldn't be my default assumption.

Give them one day to settle in. You can assume they're working on more patches/bugfixes before any announcement of DLC.

Don't hold your breath. BW/EA isn't talking. While I think that's a mistake, there you are.
And that, in a nutshell, is that. Mark Darrah's response on December the 12th was: "no promises".

No promises and apparently no consideration at all to current issues. And that, in a nutshell, is that. Mark Darrah's response on December the 12th was: "no promises".
His latest Twitter reply was to the same person who, a few days ago, asked point blank about fixing the issues with the current mouse an keybrd interface and got this response, "there is a mouse an keyboard interface".
As if nobody would remember him totally ducking the question.

While I don't necessarily agree with they way he's going about it, I'm sure the man is probably frustrated and tired of hearing about it. I have no doubts that they are working on... something. My guess is that it's probably bug fixes and the control interfaces are backburnered at the moment. Frankly, the kb/m interface sucks imo, but it's not completely unusable. Especially with a little remapping here and there.

I cant count how many times someone has posted your exact response, word for word, only to find (6 months later) that nothing has changed.. Meanwhile, all the players wanted was to know one way or the other! Funnily enough, the 3 top titles that come to mind are all EA...
Please, stop giving them the benefit of the doubt.. Theyve done nothing thus far to deserve it! Especially when you consider who pulling the strings...

I am curious about what they say about the promo videos they did. Showing gameplay and all that. Some of them came out just 2 weeks before the game, and it showed things that wern't in the game at all. The Crestwood attack, for example, and the bits about how important it was to upgrade Skyhold.

I've been reading your posts and well...
While it is great that you manage to adapt to the game controls in a rather great way, you should not expect other people to do so
I adapted to the default controls
Other people used key biddings
Other bought a controller
So come on, understand that YOUR way of playing is not for everyone. In fact I would mimic you if I could move in tact with WASD, as I said, I like what you keep posting about how you play the game, the way you deal with tact cam and all but seriously, it is not up to players, Bioware should have done things right and proper. It is not our responsability to somehow learn a less fucked up way to play this game.
SO, I gree with your statements that we still have all functionality, but not everyone agrees that is ok to keep switching modes or dealing with awful routing. You're a great darwinnian, you adapt, you survive, but again it is Bioware's responsability, it is up to them to make the game feel good at playing in one mode, the other or both.

It's also very convenient that the 1 pc stream Laidlaw and Cameron Lee did showed the tac cam only outside, and with no elevation changes of the terrain enemies were on...

I don't think it's possible for them to design a scheme that works for everyone. We're all different. The controls should be customisable.I've been reading your posts and well...

And on this point, DAI isn't terrific.
But, when people say that such-and-such can't be done, I'm going to correct them if I know that it can.
If the movement of the camera doesn't work for someone, then that's what they should say. But if they make false statements, maybe they just haven't figured it out yet. Correcting them might help.

I'll stop giving Bioware the benefit of the doubt when they do something to make me think they aren't going to patch games games anymore. Not when OTHER companies do. They've been under EA several years and have still patched their games. So no reason for me to doubt them yet.

I'm sure they are working on a patch. The real question is what will be in the patch. I got a feeling it won't make everyone happy. Like, I doubt we'll see the number of slot bars increased. I also doubt we'll see serious combat changes. Or "lifestyle" changes (like better hair, models, voice acting, etc, etc). Probably graphics and memory fixes.
A paid DLC will nclude the other fixes. That's usually how EA rolls. And is why EA is in the top 5 of the most hated companies in America (google it). An has been for 2 years in a row.
