It's a pretty forlorn hope to expect that Bioware will patch any meaningful gameplay changes at this stage (doing so would be a tacit acknowledgment that they botched it the first time). Modders and Cheat Engine are about the best hope for fixing the many things wrong with the game.

Its pretty sad when they players were left for themselves to figure out how to get around the MP key/locked door bug.

The players themselves discovered it occurs when mobs are glitched into the map via mechanics from classes like elementalist firestorm. Players discovered how to un-glitch the mobs if they could find it.  Players discovered the host had to leave to reset the zone (at their expense of time and earned XP).  Players even discovered you could uninstall the dlc to get rid of the issue.

All while bioware has stayed silent.  It's a shame the players have done more work than them on the issue.

And Bioware will remain silent and won't really fix anything other than bugs (at their own leisure) at this point. With nearly close to 2 months since release if they were going to introduce any radical changes (for example in the camera, kb/mouse controls) they would have done it by now. They probably realized the simple truth of the matter, that if you aren't going to introduce certain types of functionality on release, you might as well not do it at all. As Darkly Tranquil pointed out, it's up to the modders/Cheat Engine at this point.

They haven't even remotely fixed half the bugs.  It's a 50/50 shot almost that a masterwork material or skill will do what it says it does on the tooltip.

I don't mind a game releases with a few bugs as long as they get fixed. But what I will remember is who not to buy from again.

I'm sure they are working on a patch. The real question is what will be in the patch. I got a feeling it won't make everyone happy. Like, I doubt we'll see the number of slot bars increased. I also doubt we'll see serious combat changes. Or "lifestyle" changes (like better hair, models, voice acting, etc, etc). Probably graphics and memory fixes.

A paid DLC will nclude the other fixes. That's usually how EA rolls. And is why EA is in the top 5 of the most hated companies in America (google it). An has been for 2 years in a row.

It's not really a question.

They told us what will be included in the next patch in their blog entry.

If it doesn't contain these things, it will definitely not make everyone happy and it will also confirm the bias many are accusing Bioware of.

They are not going to give you extra ability slots, for the simple reason that it's working as intended. Same for the combat.

You might not like how it's intended, but that's no reason to change it.

The amount of communication from Devs regarding this game compared to ME3 is kinda concerning.

With ME3, devs and Bioware members were commenting left and right, posting updates more than once a week, responding to direct inquiries, and even did so while on Vacation and at home in the midnight hours. With DAI, we get hardly any dev responses or updates, regardless of the holiday season. I'm not even sure if Bioware currently has a Community Manager at this point.

There are a LOT of problems in this game that need to be addressed, before any DLC is released or talked about. There are bugs, glitches, many instances of quests becoming stuck (some major), items that don't render properly, crafting materials that are bugged and changed into other things, and skills that flat out don't even work as described.

I can take a game for what it is and not be too concerned about arguing creative choices....but those choices need to actually WORK the way they're supposed to work.

Mass Effect and Dragon Age are not made by the same team.

creating dlc for micromilking transactions. or just completely left it and making ME4.

Obviously the 'next patch' will be to prepare for the first dlc. Don't you just love those types of 'updates'?

Hey Brogan, wasn't there a comment about patch 3 being in QA about 5 or 6 weeks ago? If you can find the comment could you please link it? I can't remember where I read it.

Beat the game 3 times so i got my money's worth. At this point im waiting for the Witcher 3, Mass Effect 4 and whatever new Bethesda RPG the may announce. At E3 this year when Mass Effect  is officially revealed most will most likely forgot about DAI.

And that is yet another reason why the patches (when we see them) won't contain the "fixes" that some people are expecting. A lot have already completed at least 2 playthroughs and aren't going to wait for Bioware to issue patches. They will simply move on, if they haven't already done so.

No amount of patching will fix the awfulness of this game. I honestly can't believe there arent more people angry about what they have done to the Dragon Age series.

And that's a shame really. What a way for the Dragon Age universe to end up.

Not just the DA universes, I am tired of all of Bioware issues with the last few games and I hate the DLC transactions. So after this DAI PC failure to deliver, I will NO longer preorder any Bioware games.   OK most of you are going who the f cares if you preorder or not..I have Preordered every Bioware game  if it was preorderable since most of you were in diapers, so I am not just bixxing about something, I am acting on it, and they will lose my little bit of extra money for that.

5012 posts?
I'm guessing the endorphine rush when Bioware ACTUALLY responds to you is all you got going for you anymore isn't it?
I've only been on this board a couple weeks but it hasn't taken long for me to see how polished the turds on here are...

The main story is about 10-15 hours long and the game has been out for almost 2 months, not to mention it was released around the holiday season. But obviously thats a bit to much for someone like yourself to grasp, crawl back from whatever hole you came from.

Yeah, a whopping average of 7 posts/day completely denies me any kind of life.

But please, please, share the awesomeness of your life. Include selfies and everything.

Well I guess a completionist like myself would never understand considering I'm 105 hours into first playthrough

Nah I haven't finished it. I just focus on one game at a time until completion and I don't float from pretty game to pretty game like a casual gamer butterfly.
Funny my post was deleted and got a warning for posting that pic so if it makes you happy to report people for petty things and don't care about the future of this particular game as you stated in your original post I replied to then why are you even here?
The fact of the matter is that we want and expect a response and unless your strategy is to put it in the devs minds that you are going to move on then serious question; why are you here?
I made this account specifically to get answers and express my frustration that there are none here so don't expect me to be particularly happy.
Also I must add it must be nice to work in a company like EA/Bioware where everyone but one poor guy in IT gets 2 weeks vacation like it's grade school. I had to work every day but Christmas for the pennies I make to sit back after work and relax on a game... If that game keeps failing on me then I want it fixed. It's a product I paid for with my pennies so I expect to get my dollars worth

It blows my mind there has been such a communications blackout with respect to current issues and future patches.  I get that the game was released during the holidays and so a lot of people are out on vacation but...whose choice was that?  Not ours.  It was EAs. The holidays is no excuse for ignoring the official forums.
