So, i had no idea this quest gave you Sera as a companion. I just dismissed it as a random side quest. Now, 35 hours into the game, I look up how to get her. I remember seeing this quest in Val Royeaux, but never attempted it. Going back now, the quest isnt showing in my journal. I just completed the quest "Here lies the Abyss" at the Adamant fortress. Did I miss my chance?

If you see the location Secluded Courtyard in your world map, you still have a chance. That's assuming you did follow the clues she dropped at Val Royeaux. The first is an arrow she shot into the ground. You have to search for the other two clues around VR.

I'd wager she is gone by now, the same applies to Vivienne if you don't do her side quest when you get it.
