So I'm extremely bored at the moment and in my time of boredom I decided to think on some story DLC for Inquisition so 'ere we go:

(I do apologize for my terrible writing skills)

Story:

"Months after the defeat of Corypheus the Inquisition oversees the reconstruction of the South helping both Ferelden and Orlais who were crippled by the Breach. However not all nations have found peace, the kingdom of Nevarra has reach a critical point and its unity may be threaten; King Markus the current king of Nevarra has fallen ill with many among the Nevarran nobilty believing to be the King's final days. The nobility wanting to avoid civil war has call for a peace talk and have chosen Cumberland as its neutral ground. Weeks have passed and no news has have come from Cumberland, Syrion Pentagast has approach the Inquisition for aid to discover what has befallen the peace talks. The Inquisition arrives at Cumberland only to the discover that city has been engulfed by a blue mist, the inhabitants of the city having been turn into mindless undead. The culprit behind this atrocity is none other than the mystical elven god of the dead Falon'Din who has been freed from his imprisonment. The Elven God has taken control of Nevarra's large population of undead and now marches on Nevarra seeking to consume the kingdom and turn it into his dominion.

Now the Inquisition must unite Nevarra and face this new threat lest the shadow of Falon'Din engulfs the world.

So thats it!

So what would we get from this DLC?:

- A taste of things to come

- An undead themed DLC

- Nevarra

- Our third encounter with an Elven God and the first one to be in its true form!

So thoughts? Opinions on this?

You're right what I meant to say was an Elven God in its true form!

I like it!

Since its fair to say that the next game will have heavy Elven influence it would be great to actually learn more about the Elven gods and goddesses.

I think there's a great potential for some awesome elven god villains in the future. Andruil and Falon'Din in particular.

So long as this involves Solas showing up somewhere, then I'm good.

I wouldn't count on Solas appearing his reveal as the Dread Wolf should be in his own DLC

Yeah, I'd probably play that, but is Falon'Din a villain?  I thought he was good or neutral like the other Creators... as I understand it, the Forgotten Ones are the antagonists, and Fen'Harel is just out for himself.

Either way, I could do with an army of undead enemies to slay...

Falon'Din, according to Solas, waged a bloody campaign to amass more followers.

Falon'Din wage a war to gain followers simply because he wanted more adulation.

Uh... yeah, I guess that would qualify as a "bad guy" move...

I never heard that conversation though, so I had no idea... lol...

Well, that was my only objection, so yeah, I'd play it.  Sounds like a good excuse to visit Nevarra.

I could see Falon'Din maybe operating in a sort of twisted mindset, that he views Death as a good thing for people, in some such way. That it helps them achieve peace or enlightenment.

Perhaps he's even tied to the Blight, considering the Dalish ruin in DAO had a statue of him there.

Why not.

RobRam, we should write a Kal-Sharok DLC to be honest. To wrap up the Southern Wardens (the Calling)/Red Lyrium/Primeval Thaig storyarcs.

All the more reason why I am happy to play as an Elven Mage. You get the best understanding of magic as an Elf in my opinion.

Ahhhh, more undead?

I'm not sure why but I really hate undead as enemies.

got so much ring velvet already!

Besides that, good excuse to visit Nevarra as well!

My elf will feel right... in place.

Or really out of place.

No, thanks, I get my zombocalypse kicks from DayZ already.

All of the conversations about the gods take place in the temple of Mythal. [But before the fighting with the templars begins. Back in the puzzle room and the room before that.] If you walk around with Morrigan and Solas, stop by the tall murals devoted to the gods. So long as you have both of them in your party, you'll hear the following:

Morrigan: [Introduces a god, and the legend about them.]

Optional: If you are a dalish Inquisitor, you can then say how your clan honored them.

Solas: [Tells who they actually were, which most of the time was something very dark.]

If you only have Morrigan, you'll only hear the legend portion.

Not all the gods have this, but the majority of them do. There's also some ominous information about the gods you can find as codex entries. They won't be translated at first. If you then drink from the well, you'll be able to read them. Or you can just look online for the translated text.

Particularly worth listening to is Morrigan and Solas arguing about Fen'Harel.

To be honest im not very into that elven gods as im not into solas/flemeth thing but i would be glad if they simple finished that in dlc instead drag that to another game again.
