To challenge themselves.

For you, maybe.

So the answer is insisting the entire game be rebalanced around what what RNG loot you have received? Have another think about it then tell me which one seems like the right course of action.

I have thought about it. Are you really wanting MP to die when you have no more incentive to play?
WoW will ALWAYS be top dog MMO because they have a mechanic where the game can evolve around players. Go ahead and play your SP and praise how it's a perfect 10/10 game and needs nothing else to be the perfect gem it already is. This is MP were talking about here. There is zero point in limiting yourself other than making the game more difficult and before it comes to that players WILL leave

Edit: you want a challenge then go play flappy birds otherwise your opinion on not making this MP experience better is neither appreciated not wanted here

If you'll remember they said much the same about ME3MP, that after maxing the manifest that the player base would disappear since there would be no incentive to continue playing. That hardly proved true. Since DAMP has only been out for, what, like 2 months now, there's incentive for a lot of players, like myself, to continue playing. I'd rather the dev's get DLC right vs. just pushing updates out the door.

And user input includes all user input, not just input that agrees with what anyone one of us desire.

I completely agree but we can't sit here and say there's nothing wrong with it or that expanding the experience to have a nightmare difficulty with additional enemies is a bad thing.

Not everyone's going to agree w/ that...particularly those going into Perilious w/ a couple of Purples for one or two classes but a crap ton of Blues for the rest. That's why I think upping the difficulty too much could potentially chase away some more casual players.

It's a fine, fine freakin' line. Keeping the experienced players involved while providing a game experience for the casual players. The game needs new players to continue coming in. That's why I'm hopeful they'll make a Nightmare, i.e. Platinum, level at some point.

What the f*ck has WoW got to do with anything? And when did I mention SP? I know your argument is weak but changing the subject won't help. I am well aware that we are talking about MP. Having played 3565 games of ME3 over the course of 1300 hours I think I know a thing or two about multiplayer. Including the fact that a friend of mine created an ME3 challenge series which has remained incredibly popular long after BioWare stopped supporting the game. It did not make players leave. It gave them a reason to keep playing.

As I type this the above thread is at the top of page one of the ME3 Combat Strategy section of BSN. It currently has 7,458 replies (across 299 pages) and 112,594 views.

I have no idea what flappy birds is. I'm too busy with my NG++++ playthrough of Dark Souls 2. And I love how some random douchebag who joined BSN a week ago is telling me what this community appreciates and wants.

You've gone full retard and I'm going to ignore you now.

Good because this is the thread on DA:I which is a completely different game with completely different gamestyle. I don't care if your dad works at Nintendo because your experiences with different game genres are irrelevant. You wanna have a pissing contest fine but considering I have myself worked on level design for NWN then I would say my opinions matter when it comes to THIS genre. WoW came into the conversation because it has a fully evolvable design. I don't even care for WoW but it doesn't take a special snowflake to see how much money a fully immersible MMO can make. DAMP has the framework for this also but with people saying "it's fine the way it is" I have to wonder, how much they get paid from Bioware to shill for the team. This thread was about suggestions on how to improve the game, not for bending over to the devs and begging for less lubrication. Does it matter I wasn't here during MEMP simply because that wasn't my genre? If anything I'd say the circle jerk from being here too long causes you to have battered wife syndrome and accept a beating as if it's what you deserve. I'm sorry you've been beaten for so long but if what is being said that DA:I should balance new players with hardcore players then you sir are bassackwards in your assumptions.

Exactly
This games only been out a couple months and there's already YouTube videos of people soloing perilous. It's my opinion we need a difficulty that completely relies on teamwork and strategy that will become the main player base for the future.

He throws his boogers at the guy he's gonna teleport to. After they hit or you dodge them and he goes into the ground just keep moving with run engaged. Don't get slowed. When you see glyph it's 3 steps or 2 and a jump. I haven't been hit by him unless I'm reviving someone and the biggest threat comes up to me while I'm doing it. People think I'm just leaving them to die but that's not the case. Experienced players know you have to time your revives

Believe me, I understand how he works. I have never, not once, dodged his attack just by running. Every time I get marked I do not stop running but I still get shanked. I dunno if this is an inherent Hunter only problem since I play Hunter almost exclusively or what. Unless I take stealth or evade DC is downing my *ss unless we pull a hail marry out our arse and down him within the first 45 seconds-ish.

It's a good possibility your being lag killed. I've seen this with DC before. The game rubber bands you ever so slightly that you may not even notice it

Boco - I wrote games for the BBC, no one gives a crap - NWN or not your opinion is no more or less valid than anyone elses. Frankly, buffing DC just to appease you and a few others and frustrate a vastly larger set of players just won't swing. Platinum will come in due time (hopefully after all these game-breaking bugs), in the meantime solo perilous your Katari.

Lol he is squishy. That is a challenge yes. I have not outright denied anyone's opinions except for the opinion that nothing needs to be done. That's just ludicrous. I know the DC scares everyone still I understand. I still get apprehensive the second I hear "demons" on opening scene. I just don't understand why anyone would want to limit the game at perilous.
Also ME3 having a few hundred players left vs an MMO with 7.5 MILLION subscribers would tell you that leaving a game with a cap limit has and will crush it in the long run.

Yeah, it gets me every time. I play Assassin and will roll out of the DC area of effect sometimes I'm as far as 3-5 feet away from his teleport attack and it still kills me. Makes me so mad I could punch a puppy( Warning, this is sarcasm. Freaking out and bitching at me will result in snarky comments ). :)

Would love to see behemoths/pride demons be on par with some of the dlc enemies(like giants). Those big enemies that only spawn one or two a map should give substantially more exp or drop some money or an item though.

I would like to have 2 more difficulty levels beyond perilous as it getting a bit boring to solo them now
perhaps adding one with Avvar as enemies perhaps with a dragon boss etc..

Yep, happened earlier to me during a lagging PUG. I was literally 5' away with my keeper and he took out my barrier

Personally I find Templars are a pain. Too many archers mixed with 2 shadow rogues...who to kill first?

u always kill rouge firsts, archer u can just wait around a corner and smash them when they come around or chain light them from afar, behind a wall

yea adding more enemies would be repetitive

That's how I do it too. I don't think Templars need more enemies, just the shadow rogues have too many HP for what they are worth methinks plus flank prevention doesn't work as intended...at least how I assume it was intended

That's another problem. We can't see our play stats without a mod. I'm a PS4 user so I have ZERO chance to see them.
Problem with people like you is that you have your head so far up biowares butts that you take a t-bones word for it...wait...a butcher called Bioware has a t-bone up their butts... Wait...let me try that again

And... just like that, credibility is gone.
