I'm actually surprised people feel horrible for killing dragons. It's an action RPG game where the main gameplay is to kill. Maybe because I have played too many games of similar genre, I don't find anything wrong with killing these dragons. It's a spiritual successor of dungeons and dragons and killing dragons are usually one of the main goals. If you don't kill them, they will kill you. It seems like a case of Draco in leather pants.

I agree with that. But mostly, my reasoning is pretty simple: fun fight and good loot! That's what I pay for when I buy these kinds of games. :D But other people may enjoy different aspects of the game more and so avoiding dragon fights is no big deal for them I suppose.

I felt bad for the birdwatcher on the storm coast. His journal had a list of provisions for his trip including a sword (for show). He had everything he needed but was still killed by a random falling rock. Poor guy. Just trying to do a little birdwatching and not bothering anyone. For some reason that made me extra sad.

Unlike most games of this type, dragons aren't flying around killing people. The one dragon who is actually doing harm is the one in crestwood who only moved to a populated area because you flooded her nesting ground. Preemptive killing feels wrong

I play on PlayStation so I don't know if PC players with controllers experience this. But in Chateau D'Onterre (a creepy enough place as is) my controller would randomly vibrate as I explored the place

That moment when I found the skeleton of a child under a skeleton of an adult. And can loot a bloody teddy bear from the child skeleton. WTF?

My Dalish bow rogue is still carrying that bloody teddy bear around as a reminder that some people deserve an arrow in the face.

I felt bad when I had to kill the infected giants even if they are pretty beastly in their uninflected state.

I got that during my first playthrough, and could not ever bring myself to sell the teddy bear - my Inquisitor kept it as a reminder of what was at stake in the fight against the mastermind behind the Rift.

I desperately wanted to tell that couple at the abandoned Crestwood Tavern "DONT GO TO THE SPIDER CAVE NO MATTER WHAT."

Being in love increases your chance to die grim deaths by 9001% in Thedas.

What happens to them after you catch them getting it on at the tavern?

And thus far, the couple who were going to get engaged during a picnic on the cliff in Empris du Lion, and ended up being burned to death was one of my "sad" moments.

I look at the dragons this way - they are apex predators who are getting ready to spit out wave upon wave of endlessly hungry youngsters. Look at all the little ones both the Frostback and Vinsomer have already produced. Think of all the livestock those youngsters will need to eat. One cow can make all the difference for a peasant family on the margin of survival.

I don't necessarily like killing them and I think a few in the least populated areas could be let go, but there is no Thedosian Fish and Game service to calculate a responsible dragon cull, either.

This. They men look like demented Mickey Mouse. Also all the helmets that have no way of seeing out of them. The Hessiarian camp being all clones, the re-use of the same npc model over and over again. All the clones creep me out.

yea, cass's disaprovel after she practicly pleds with you not to drink it was like.. ummm, what?

Also leaving it there really wasn't an option.. however what would have happened if Cory drank it, woudl he have then been on Flemiths control? That would have been intresting.

And i wouldn't doubt she would have played it off as Dumant or some other old god.
