See I interpreted it exactly the opposite. I think she knew exactly what was about to happen and didn't even try to stop it; ergo she was willing.

That was my sense too. Then there's also the dialogue. Solas says that 'he should be the one to pay the price, but can't.' Then they apologize that it has to happen that way. It doesn't seem like anyone was taken by surprise in that encounter.
