There's an interesting line of Cole's that seems to relate to Mythal/Flemeth, and possibly to the epilogue with Solas;
"A cold flame blazes in a robe worth more than children. Protect her, and she consumes you, burning because she can." [listen here]
Whenever we physically see an old god soul in the game, it's represented as a blue (cold) flame. A "cold flame [blazing] in a robe" seems like a neat metaphor for an old god soul blazing within a host mage.
It seems likely that the "her" refers to Mythal; a spirit burning for vengeance, which possesses (consumes) her protector, Flemeth. The "worth more than children" part ties in neatly to Mythal/Flemeth's habit of possessing her daughters, as she considers the old god soul more valuable than her child's freedom.
That could be the end of it, but there's a slightly different way in which the first line can be taken which might tie into the epligoue. What if Solas is the 'cold flame blazing in a robe'? The implication would then be that Mythal considers Solas to be "worth more" as a host than Morrigan, which makes sense given that Solas is (or at least contains) Fen'Harel.
If that's the case, the bigger implication would be that Mythal willingly transferred to Solas - and that she may consume him.
Or maybe I'm way off. Either way, I'm curious to hear what others think!
