Or they might in fact just have terrible two handed weapons still. Unless a level 20 reaver with no promotions and a 70 DPS weapon can still spazz flail their way to glory.

haha yea the RNG in this game is wonderful :D
everything is too random

it is like the game devs are extremely lazy today

"meeh just add a random generator and throw everything into that folder, maps, enemies loot"
"ok boss"

remember when they placed items manually

This item appears in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. It's created when combining the three flail, which are all found in the De'Arnise Keep at the forge in the first floor's hidden room at the back of the keep. The heads can be found at:

  • The first head can be found near the forge.
  • Another head can be found in the room with the inactive golems
The third flail head is dropped by Glaicas.

with the current RNG it would be extremely hard to find items in those games :P
game devs are just lazy and want money quick for a quick job

*Not weekend challenge related*

I have no problem with a high level character playing routine, because it's likely they have a low level weapon and didn't enjoy wiping on threatening. They're using a high level weapon? Well then they have some weird enjoyment of completing things easily but that's their prerogative.

But here's a big DON'T for me... if you're "slumming it" in routine or threatening and you're playing with random people who are clearly playing that difficulty because it is the right one for them to farm gold on... don't be a dick and leave them to get all the gold. It was very frustrating as a poorly geared low level player to spend my free time gaming as a gold collector for someone with more time in the game who just wants to promote their AW. When I see people who refuse to break a single pot... grinds my gears.

because it cant be fun ?
some ppl enjoy feeling like gods on earth smashing everything to pieces once and a while

Ok, then. I found two more valid reasons: routine mission- and reaver mission accomplishments. Other than that your XP goes down the drain so I still really see it as a total waste of valuable time.

Second. Why would you want to have people join a game where you want to farm kills? No reason.

the reavers I have dealt with all insta gib pretty much everything in routine and if they have their mics in are pretty big douchebags. I get the class is fun. I am promoting one over and over for 2h weapon kills, but I jump to threatening as soon as rampage and dragon rage are unlocked. if i am soloing routine for whatever reason and its open to the public, I use my  mic to let them know what is going on and what to expect.

i love when a 20 reaver joins a routine match. at that point i just go afk and work on my wifes honey do list while i get free gold and xp for  my lower lvl characters. not worth the bother of actually playing.

I always get on the Mic and get people like that kicked from the party when I notice that.

Don't join & stay in my games then. I often leave my routine games public when I'm trying to grind op completes for banners so newbies can have easy gold / xp. Those that don't like free gold/exp can host their own games.

I also consider threatening difficulty slumming it. When you can go katari bowling through the level, OHKO'ing all the mooks with charge, threatening difficulty is slumming it.

I tried to do the same a few times myself. Unfortunatly it just feels totally wrong to open that stage door when people who join the game are trying to open treasure rooms, as I like to open them myself if I dont play for acheivements. So I like it better to do that sort o' thing alone. More effective, less hassle, less fuzz.

Are you new? No, you're not. When you join a game in session you can PLAINLY SEE who's in the game. You can join or not, that's YOUR choice.

With that in mind, there are players who may A.) need help and would welcome the carry or B.) simply not care. Either way it's no sweat off my sack. Stay and pick up gold while I rush or move on to another lobby.

This one's mine.

Don't like how I run MY LOBBY?

Too bad.

I think the main reason why you would want to keep your farming game open is that you want to impress some newbie tagalongs to feed your own ego, and excuse it with some "i like to help newbs" statement.

In my country we have a saying, and its wording can be directly translated to "you are doing someone a bears favor". It originates from a french fable about a bear who wants to kill a fly on his masters face, but ends up killing him instead. In other words it's a favor that doesnt nescessarily benefit you. By that I mean that if you follow some highly stacked dude through routine, you dont really learn how to play....

Woooooow. My bad, thought I was talking to an actual adult here. Good news though! Your the first person to officially make my ignore list. See that's the beauty of the internet. Just like it provides you with the anonymity to be a giant douche of the bag if you so choose it also affords me the option of deleting you from existence. Don't know you...don't wanna. Yay Internet!

Not my fault you tried to kick the wrong dog and got rattled when he barked.

I'll say it one last time since it's clear it didn't resonate with you:

My lobby, join it or don't, don't care.

It clearly did resonate with me, and I commented it accordingly. Just because someone disagrees with you does not automaticly make them daft.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to imply you're daft.

I figured the finality of the statement would have made it clear that whether you disagreed or not on how I run my lobbies, you know, didn't matter.

My mistake.

Would you be happy if your first day on the game was walking behind some 1337 pro while they killed everything? Not a good experience (sounds like my first few days in Warframe honestly). My first dozen or so routine matches was probably my favorite part of this MP. Working together with people to try to make up for a massively underpowered weapons... If I ran into you I'd probably think you're just trying to show off to some noobs.

I don't know about you but mooks don't do much more than 1 damage on routine to me. Just solo it for your challenges, you're not doing community service.

Threatening is a more efficient gold farm than perilous. Most people in threatening are there to get gold. Don't be a dick.

What's funny is a played a game or 2 of routine last night and noticed you get so much more team work (thought it's not really needed as you can just hit the controller/keyboard with your face and win) than you do in threatening. Keeper using barrier and legos agroing and archers staying back and not running off LEROY! It was actually fun.

Wish you'd find more of this on perilous... And less archers.

Yes. I wish I had had that opportunity. It would have been far more enjoyable, and profitable, than wiping 12 times in a row, which is what happened to me.

If I ran into you I'd probably think you're just trying to show off to some noobs.

I'd try following your own advice.
