What I want to know is what even was the complaint, lol. I didn't see that post she was talking about. It can't be too many bis and gays, or he would have mentioned male characters too certainly, right? And if he did, why does he only care about females? I wanna know just from curiosity, not to judge, as I might actually end up agreeing with him depending on what he was saying exactly.
Females Everywhere?!

Aren't we forgetting Merrill and Isabella?
Yeah, the call was specifically for a list of gay and bisexual women in Inquisition. If we were looking at all three games, we'd need to add:
- Isabela
- Merrill
- Marjolaine
- Branka
- Hespith
... am I forgetting any minor NPCs from the first two games?

ehhh dunno probably because all men at some point wanted to be a woman (you know why
), i play all of the games as a female char except maybe mass effect.

Lol, between this thread and the Bull one I'm starting to wonder if something happened to the mods. It's amazing how they've managed to stay open this long.
And thank you all for the trololol vids and cupcake recipes, my day is now complete
Either they're having an extended seasonal break or they have a lot of excess good will left over from the holidays
That or every time they come into close it they see the sheer awesomeness of recipes and videos and decide to wait and see what happens next

I think people dismissing the OP because they don't agree with his/her comments or those who try to derail the topic by posting cookie recipes should have their posts removed as trolling. Seriously, if you can't have a serious discussion, don't post in the topic! Mods need to do their work. It's not okay to troll (which isn't the case here) but it's okay to troll the troll?
I honestly noticed this as well. There might be more male characters in your companions but that's it. There are a disproprotionate amount of women holding power compared to men, or women characters who are more fleshed-out than men. When I say holding power, I mean when you come across groups of people, of troups, or whatever, the majority of the times, the leader will be a woman. When I say fleshed-out, I mean that have more dialogue or are more developed. Here are just some examples:
Harding
Celene
Briala
Dagna
the woman who gives you requisitions
Commander Jehen in Citadelle du Corbeau in the Exalted Plains
the woman you meet if you choose the mountain path in the intro
All the Chantry women (Divine Justinia, Mother Giselle, etc.)
Sergeant Merseault in Fort Revesan
All the dragons which seem to all be female
And this doesn't include any of the codex entries about women in power, which were quite numerous. Not to mention the strong focus on Andrasté and the female elvan gods.
I too felt that Bioware was being a little too politically correct by having so many women in power. I definitely would say the game was about 70/30 or 65/35 in favor of female characters. The argument that in real life, women in the middle ages didn't tend to have positions of power is a valid one, because men are generally bigger and physically stronger and thus it is understandable why more men were in positions of power. That fact has not changed in the DA universe. A few strong females in the DA universe wouldn't bother me, but when it's made to seem like the DA universe is female dominated, you can't stop but ask what Bioware was trying to accomplish. Give women the impression of being empowered? Be politically correct or "progressive" or whatever?
I also had a problem with the overdose of lesbianism and female bisexuality, but that will be the subject of its own topic once I can go through the game again and note down all pertinent examples.
Here guys I went back and found the post that said he was gonna make a list I hope the dragons are also on the list of Too Many Women who like Women because I rly enjoy that being on the Too Many Well Developed Female Characters list

The Kaltenzahn and the Highland Ravager have a moving subplot about them raising a family together and the challenges they face because one of them is an ice dragon and the other is a fire dragon.
Or I'm sure they would have, if I hadn't murdered them and all their offspring and turned their bones and skin into AWESOME LOOTZ.

Well, you know I never found a single drake on any of my playthroughs. Clearly this indicates the female dragons have now ousted all their male counterparts after holding ceremonial bra-burning ceremonies across Thedas, and are now settling into happy lives of female-only companionship. And then dying painfully tragic deaths at the hands of my (female) kight enchanter. So I can totally see this, and it's clear that the OP is really secretly suffering from dragon envy

Female dragons were actually mentioned....
Wot.
I honestly don't know what's more hilarious, these threads or the fact that somebody actually made a "Tali's sweat" graph.

Apparently it goes something like this: dragonlings can be male or female. Male dragonlings become drakes and lose the power of flight. Female dragonlings can grow up to be high dragons. It's a bit like bees, only not really.

So basically what you're saying is... they mate as drakes and the female ones basically reach pokemon evolution level 3, and males stay at 2 and keep humping the female level 2 evolution drakes with evidently less ambition than the ones who move onto 3?

She made disparaging remarks to the the Kaltenzahn about dating outside their element, but secretly she was smitten with the Highland Ravager too. Maybe she would have eventually gotten over herself and suggested a threesome, only I skinned her too.

You like sweet & sour? Marinade it with lemon, then cook it & add a honey at the end to make it even more golden.
Or Apple Cider for marinade.

Old gods are just that, gods, taking the form of dragons just like you see flemeth and morrigan doing. Old gods are actually the elven forgotten ones.

Wait wait wait, I'm not sure I get it right: aren't the Old Gods the member of Elven Pantheon (Elgarna'an etc) instead of Forgotten Ones?
