Wait wait wait, I'm not sure I get it right: aren't the Old Gods the member of Elven Pantheon (Elgarna'an etc) instead of Forgotten Ones?

Na I think they were sealed behind eluvians.

If the old gods were actually the main elven pantheon clan, Flemeth's words about having her revenge and inflicting wrath on the heavens or whatever would make less sense, as there's only two old gods left, and they're underground.

They're all of the elven pantheon though, just different clans, which Solas is kin to both.

Interesting, I never pictured it like that. Maybe that's why Solas got so angry about the Wardens killing the Old Gods. He's kin to them too. What I don't understand is Flemeth's motivation to get Urthemiel's soul. If the Old Gods are the Forgotten Ones, shouldn't Flemeth be their enemy? Why would she want to save Urthemiel's soul instead of just letting the Wardens destroy it?

How could I forget Dorian?! Dorian rules in this game! He is a solid and stand-up guy if ever there was! I ended up taking him along on every mission especially with Sera as their banter was a hoot!

Arrows!

Two female characters at the beginning. Sounds rough.

AND mentions of some dead lady in addition to that. It IS rough.

Is females everywhere a play on "enemies everywhere" from the first Mass Effect?

That's a good question, and she says that she was murdered by someone obviously other than Fen'Harel. I assume with her comment, that this means the elven gods were (surprise surprise  ) dicks and they did it, so she wouldn't necessarily be enemies per say. Enemy of my enemy. That or she can use the soul for her own purposes, whatever those are. Or were, if she's no longer around.

As for Solas' reaction, there's another possibility too, and that is that he used the old gods to anchor the world from the Fade, and if they all die or are released (since I don't think any of the gods can ever truly die, but we'll see), then the fade and the world may unite, or come close to it. I base that off of this:

I think separating the world was necessary to bind both the clan of the forgotten ones and the regular elven pantheon clan away from each other to prevent the war.

Where does that picture comes from? DA:I? Can you please elaborate on the context? Ancient writing somewhere?

Yeah I had heard the same thing about separating the two worlds. It makes sense. Now what doesn't is, why Solas want to removes the Veil once again? I really get the hint he now wants to unlock the Orb to remove the Veil completely. Why doing this? Or isn't this his motivation?

Gaaaaaah having DA:I give me more and more questions.

Something about a world where humans and other races, co existing with spirits in peace, without the active confrontation that happens when a spirit turns into a demon. Probably also to keep spirits from turning into demons? I don't know.

It's from one of the texts revealed after you take the well of sorrows option I believe. I'll give the link in a sec.

As for Solas, honestly I don't think he wants to. At least not yet. I think he knows the world isn't ready for that change even though he wants it and misses the way things were before he had to do what he did.

And if he does want to tear it down now, I think he's committed to doing it right, and without killing the gods. I know he's being set up to be a villain, but I think he'll be more like loghain, somewhere from a gray area. I'm not convinced he's ready to completely undo his work, at least not the way people are thinking.

Wow I never knew this, since I always let Morrigan drink from the Well. I wonder about the "flowers" reference.

Loghain's a  grey-area "Villain", just like Meredith IMO. Best villains of DA Universe, since the line between hero & villain is pretty thin. Even the Warden him/herself is in the Grey Area. The Grey Wardens are known for their focus on combatting the Blight, even if it means pretty extreme things. History is written by who wins the war... Loghain is so multilayered that when I hear all his banters with other members (especially Dog), & read The Stolen Throne, I get to sympathize a lot with him. It will be interesting to see a world state with Loghain Warden  Alistair King

Maybe she wanted to save it so she could use it for its power later?

Something to add to what I said about Solas, Solas mentions that he never thought he'd be in the fade physically if you take him to adamant. So at least when you first meet him, it's clear that up until that point, he didn't have plans to tear it down.

His mind might have changed later though, but it's still worth noting.

And I of course agree on Loghain :) I always kill him, but that's from my Cousland roleplay.

Yes, I know.

Unfortunately, Googling "phenomenal cosmic power gif" (because I really wanted an animated gif with the full scene) was unhelpful. That joint image was the closest, typo notwithstanding.

Internet, you fail me.

Damn. The internet is turning into a dark dark place indeed if you can't even find a correct Disney gif. :/

Edit: Weirdly, I was able to find something. Even though it still has an error in it. ~_~

Its a well known fact that mens perceptions of 'equal numbers of men and women'  in groups are skewed. When women make up 30-40% of a group, a large number of men percieve them as taking up half the numbers, and when the numbers are anywhere from 40-50% they actually percieve them as being the majority.

Thats what happens when you are used to seeing a 60-90% male majority everyhere. When the split is actually even, it seems like there are loooooads of females but only because its such a big difference to what you are used to.

Personally, I'm effing thrilled. Think of what it must be like to be a female gamer, bro.

Dragon Age games, particularly Inquisition, have provided varied, equally distributed characters- and the game is ten times more realistic, intricate and interesting than the majority of other stories in this medium.

tl:dr It only seems like loooooooads of females because you are so used to it being looooooads of males.

This is people in general... They do this same thing when judging how people see minorities, and thinking they take up a room, or thinking there's a lot of black people somewhere when there's barely any.

Don't know why. Humans are funny.

True. But people on the top of a social heriarcy, I'd argue, do it slightly more. So whites are more likely to have this perception with black people in a group, men are more like to have this perception regarding women in a group etc. And actually, studies of shown this to be true.

As for 'Don't know why. Humans are funny'; we explained it between us. Non minorities are used to having their perspective treated as the default, as well as higher in number.

You'd be wrong. My family does this with black people all the time. We laugh often because stuff they accuse white people of doing, they do too. Some things are just human nature.
