Speaking of females I forgot to share one of my favorite anime ladies, she was actually first female anime character I loved:

Lady Oscar!!!! I grew up watching that show I loved it as a kid Funny thing is, I watched the German dubbed version I actually re-watched the entire series fairly recently (Japanese with subtitles this time), and found it equally awesome as I did as a kid

Damn, that would have been a perfect comment just before closing! xD Oh well, the faster those things are shut down, the better. We can only derail so many threads into glory. This one is still on topic as far as I'm concerned, with everyone talking about and posting awesome female characters. 

 

I do feel slightly guilty over not posting actual DA characters but meh, I am sure that will pass in time. That guy has too much time on his hands.

Same but with Finnish dub. The dub sucks though, it only had like 5 voice-actors and some guy did all random characters which resulted high-pitched male voices to bunch of female characters. So akward to listen XD

 

I rewatched the show when I were in high school with original japanese voices and so much better :3
