For my male Mage Trevelyan, I'd say he's a Full English breakfast.
Depending on how the mood strikes him, he can make himself appear relatively simple or rather posh, he doesn't like to be the only dish at the table and as a sappy romantic, enjoys the prospect of breakfast in bed.
Angelique Trevelyan, my default artificer, would be Hibiscus passionfruit tea with a drop of wildflower honey. It's warm, and appropriate for both cheerful and contemplative moments.

Over-baked butterkuchen. Supposed to be sweet and gooey, but bad things happend in the making of, and she just didn't turn out right. I like damaged characters the best.

My female mage Trevelyan would be chicken rice congee. A bit of background: this kind of food is comfort food, super easy to make (runny rice really), upfront, wholesome like chicken noodle soup. But there's subtle kicks to it, pepper, ginger, green onions. So basically a very plain-looking person with unpredictable and unusual quirks.
In short she's chicken noodle soup with a major twist?
Ashkas Adaar would be a sirloin steak, medium rare. Powerful and commanding of respect, but tender.

Female Lavellan - a (non-alcoholic) mint julep on the rocks. Very sweet, tangy, and refreshing, and very cooling on a hot summer's day or a stressful situation. (Contrasts very well with her beloved Solas, Mr. "Scotch Bonnet Candy.")
Female Cadash - a huge slab of meat still attached to the bone, most likely the rump of a wild boar or bear. Very thick, greasy, tough, and meaty, and very hard to chew through. (As in, hard to gnaw past her tough exterior just to get to her hard@$$ core. And yes, the "rump" and "hard@$$" words are intentional - she can be an @$$.)

My current Inquisitor would probably be matzah crackers and grape juice - filling, reliable, slightly off tasting, and slightly disappointing in its mundanity. He's into this stuff, but just doubtful enough in his fervor not to break out the sacramental wine and Host. Maybe he will eventually get around to being awesome.
