My "canon" I would say is my first playthrough for each and that Leliana, Anders and Isabela.

I have two 'canon' worlds. One is elf centric, the other is a more traditional 'medieval' canon.

 

1st and main canon was -

 

Male Elf Mage romancing Morrigan. Went through Eluvian.

 

Female Mage Hawke romancing Fenris. Died in the fade.

 

Male Dalish mage romancing Dorian.

 

 

 

2nd canon was -

 

Cousland Queen romancing Leliana. (done before DAI, found it very interesting that their relationship was mirrored in Orlais by Celene & Briala)

 

Male Warrior Hawke romancing Isabela

 

Female Human Rogue romancing Cullen.

 

Proprs to Bioware for making the romance options interesting. I'm not actually one for romances usually and quite happy to go single (Mass Effect), and especially as a gay man I find most gay options incredibly tedious at best. However Morrigan sparked an interest that never went away, so I just went with it. Morrigan is and always will be my canon though, hehe.

DA:I - Cullen (Aside from the lyrium withdrawal, he seems like a regular guy. Nice change.)

DA:II - (No one. Didn't like either woman, and my guy was straight)

DA:I - Cassandra (Josephine is like candy)  for my straight guy, and Dorian for my gay guy (What a sweetie).

My first every play through of Origins had Alastair as her lover, although, he dumped her because it did not fit my character too say people are out for themselves when he met with the Shrew that is Golddena as she saw good in people then she met Nathaniel and fell hard for the rouge.

So she not lonely anymore as she has Nathaniel with her.

With Serina Hawke she became my canon play through since as a mage she had Carver as her brother saved by Anders she fell hard for the mage. Wanted to help plant the bomb and was pissed he lied too her but kept him alive and is now expecting their first child who will be a mage.

Eloise Trayvlan is my main playthough she a spunky mage with loving the fire elementals teachings and romanced Cullen. They have three boys all different ages and Clintion will be the mage in the bunch. She teaches at the new college of enchanters and loves being with her husband and children.

I liked all the female companions I romanced but made some awful choices with the guys. I have a thing for elves and mages which in Dragon Age always turns out to be a bad idea... All was well in DAO, but then the horror started when I left the puppy dog Alistair path to seek out more edgy characters. I guess I have to rethink my taste in men. Seriously, I notice correlations to real life...
