So I am still reeling from the romance between my Hawke and Fenris and after finding out that Fenris will only be getting a small cameo in da3 I can't help but wonder. Will they incorporate our romances in future DLC or future game content in general?

 

The way I see it is this. Players going through the game develop connections and veterans would appreciate having the option to continue past romances.

 

Is this just me or does anyone else feel this way? It's truly not a big deal, but I would certainly appreciate an encore of my favorite DA character. =(

I'm still deciding which is my DAI favourite, but for the others it's very much Morrigan for DAO and Anders for DA2.

 

I assumed that Cassandra would be the clear winner for DAI, but I'm more neutral on hers than I expected (and Josephine and Dorian's for that matter - haven't played the others).  I thought they were all decent, but none stood out as better than the others (aside from Cassandra's potential to become divine).  From what I've heard, Solas might be the most interesting, but I'm not a huge fan of the way the female elves look, so I don't know that I'm every going to devote a playthrough to that.

 

I suppose that's a good thing, if one doesn't particularly stand out relative to the others.

It's a different game where you're playing a new character, so I'd rather see the focus on the new people.

I wish the romances in DAI were more like romances in mass effect 3, they were all so deep and much more emotional.

I'm not sure if the data collection is still being pursued, but I am a bisexual female, and these playthroughs were done after an initial blind play (except for DA:I for my main playthrough, that was my first play).

For my main playthrough (canon kind of feels like inappropriate to me due to there being hundreds of canons for many people, including Bioware's canon):

Female Amell/Leliana (did DR and Leliana is not Divine)

Female Mage Hawke/Anders in a Friendmance (although she had a dalliance with Isabela before that, also became fugitives with Anders in the end. Survived DA:I)

Female Mage Lavellan/Iron Bull

 

No real pattern here for me that I see in the romances I picked, as admittedly I wanted different kinds of romances for my PCs, and picked based on preference, not plot. Each one also had unrequited feelings for another one of their companions (F!Amell for Morrigan, F!Hawke for Aveline, and F!Lavellan for Dorian, at least until his companion quest).

 

I also have some other playthroughs I have aside from my main one where I loved the romances in:
Female Warrior Tabris/Warden Alistair -> Male Rogue Hawke/Anders in a Rivalmance (though killed him in the end, and died himself in DA:I) -> Male Mage Adaar/Cassandra

 

Male Warrior Aeducan/Morrigan (had a child with Felsi as well, did DR and followed Morrigan through the Eluvian) -> Male Mage Hawke/Merril in a Friendmance (slept with Fenris before. Survived DA:I) -> Male Rogue Cadash/Dorian

 

Bonus ME main romance (since it was brought up a few pages ago): Female Adept Shepard/Kaidan in ME1 (Virmire'd him though), then F!Shep/Thane for ME2 and ME3 (remained faithful even after he died).

I have two canon plus one (since the DA2 save is inventend in the Keep. Couldn't play another time)

 

First canon:

DAO: City Elf and Warden Alistair, lovely couple.

DA2: Female Hawke and Anders (bye bye Hawke)

DAI: Lavellan and Solas

 

Second Canon:

DAO: Brosca and Morrigan, happysh family.

DA2: Female Hawke and Fenris (Sorry, Loghain)

DAI; Female Adaar and Iron Bull

 

Third Canon:

DAO: Female Mage Elf and Zevran

DA2: Female Hawke and Fenris (Keep only)

DAI: Mage Lavellan and Cassandra.

Loved the Warden/Morrigan romance. There were two big reasons to romance the pirate. Cassandra in DAI, though I was probably thinking more of DA2 Cassandra.

Blackwall (although I loved Solas and he would be my favorite but I need some closure first - DLC please)(also I am romancing Cullen right now to see what all the fuss is about) (but I enjoyed Blackwall - I like the redemption story and also I think people who think he is bland never really took the time to talk to him and/or never listened to much banter in the party)
