DA2 - Female mage Hawke who romanced Anders.
DA:I - Male mage Lavellan who will romance Dorian.

I don't really have a pattern. It just kinda happened this way, but it makes for an interesting world-state, haha.
DAO: Leliana.
DA2: vanilla story? No one. My Hawke wanted to be with Tallis but she never came back.
DAI: Cassandra. Though it could change to Josephine or no one at all. I'm not all that impressed with either of them.
Leliana
Merrill
and sadly no one from DAI ![]()
DAO: Morrigan with the OGB ![]()
DA2: Isabela
DAI: Cassandra
Too easy.
Morrigan: Men are always willing to believe two things about a woman: one, that she is weak, and two, that she finds him attractive.
Isabella: I like big boats, I cannot lie.
Sera: Buckles!
DA:O - Male Rogue Cousland who romanced Leliana
DA2 - Male Rogue Hawke who romanced Merrill
DA:I - Male Rogue Trevelyan who romances Josephine
Don't think I have a canon romance, but rather some preferences: Morrigan, Leliana and I guess Cassandra.
the straight female romance options hasn't really bit into me quite yet.
in ME it's Liara... always Liara.
Dragon Age Origins: I'm partial to a male human mage warden romancing Morrigan, doing the Dark Ritual and following her through the Eluvian.
Dragon Age 2: I prefer a female mage Hawke romancing Anders and putting him out of his misery.
Dragon Age Inquisition: I'm not sure yet. I think my favorite romance is Cassandra and then breaking up with her when she becomes Divine. I prefer Leliana and Vivienne as my Divines tho. Solas romance is really good too, and I think that romance will carry the most weight forward, but I just do not like playing elves. I haven't decided my romance for this game yet. I still can't figure out who my canon Inquisitor will be lol.
I discarded the notion of having a canon playthrough since I have found that I enjoy more than one path.
Still, if I had to pick a "default" that I find most "canonically logical", I'd go with:
Male Cousland + Morrigan
Male Hawke + Anders (Friendship)
Male Human Inquisitor + Cassandra
My favorites are actually:
Female Cousland + Alistair (DahliaLynn's mods make it glorious)
Male Mage + Fenris (Rivalry)
Male Human Inquisitor + Dorian
DAO: Alistair (Human Female Dual-Wielding Rogue)
DAII: Anders (FemHawke DW Rogue)
DAI: Blackwall (Human Female DW Rogue)
Detailed romance:
DAO: Married unhardened Alistair.
DAII: Romanced Anders, had him fight for the mages with us.
DAI: Full pardon for Blackwall. (I wanted to send him to the Grey Wardens, but my Inquisitor was too afraid of losing him, so she used her power for to be selfish.)
I went the Grey Warden route. No regrets.
Alistair
Anders
Solas
The men who all managed to break my hero's heart in some way or another.

Did you Grey their Wardens?
Dark their Spawn?
Master their Taint?

Since I have 2 cannon characters for each game (one male and one female - because I can't decide) ..
DAO: Leliana for MaleWarden/ Alistair for FemWarden
DA2: Isabela for MaleHawke/ Anders for FemHawke
DAI: Josephine for MaleQuizzy/ Solas for Femquizzy
Alistair
Anders
Solas

I have far too many Dragon Age and Mass Effect gifs for this reply that I can't figure out how to use...and far more than I'm proud of...
I guess you could say my PCs:
Licked his Lamppost
Freed his Mage
...yeah that's all I have.
Something, something Blackwall's beard.
DA:O Morrigan/Male Human Warrior (performed Dark Ritual and followed her through the Eluvian, of course)
DA 2 Isabela/Male Rogue Hawke
DA:I Cassandra/Male Human Warrior (first I was torn between her and Josie, who's a very loveable girl, but at the end I understood that I could never romance anyone else than Cass)
These are my favourite couples, of course during other playthroughs I tried other romances, but these I wrote are those I consider canon.
DAO: Alistair with my Female Rogue Cousland (he stayed with the Wardens and she did the ultimate sacrifice)
DA2: Friend Sebastian with my Female Warrior Hawke (killed Anders, sided with the Templars)
DAI: Cullen with my Female Rogue Lavellan
I have several world states, but this is my canon and my favorite. I couldn't bring myself to change it even when
DAO: Queen Cousland/King Alistair
DA2: Female Mage Hawke/Anders
DAI: Rogue Lavellan/Cullen
I like those sandy haired fellas, apparently.
Zevran
Anders
Cullen
In terms of "Official Story", I would have to say Morrigan, Isabella, and Solas are the "Canon" choices.
In terms of my own story that I use: Morrigan, Merrill, and Sera.
Leliana.
Merrill.
Cassandra.
I feel like Cass is a combo-breaker on the pattern of preferring the "softer" female option. Josephine is just that boring, though.
In the bright side, it means I have a Canon LI for each class!
Fem!Tabris with Zevran
FemMageHawke with Fenris
In inquisition I just can't decide between Solas, Cullen and Blackwall (this never happened to me before
)
Inquisition: Lavellan and Cullen. She's bit of a ditz; he sees it just as being a dreamer. Both are people who have seen terrible things and have come out the other side stronger. She loves him enough to shed her Dalish past, knowing that loving a shem will put her in her clan's black books forever, and she makes him realise how good a mage can be.
I think it can be headcanon'd so Lavellan doesn't have to give up her clan to be with him. In war table missions, Cullen's troops save Clan Lavellan many times over if you do it right.
Besides, Clan Lavellan seems to be a pretty open-minded clan of elves, as far as Dalish clans go. Compared to the lack of pro-elf content in the game that's something. They risk their lives to protect the City Elves in Wycome, so I don't think they'll mind one of their own falling in love with a human, especially now that she's the leader of an organization and can't stay with them her whole life anyway. So there's no possibility of an inmarriage within the clan.
But if you want to play as an outsider Lavellan that's a legit choice too. There are a lot of possible ways a romance can be bittersweet in this game, some canon, some part of headcanon.
