DA: Origins: City elf rogue and Alistair (kept him with the Wardens)

DA2: Female mage Hawke and Fenris (friendmanced - I could never be mean to him. LOL)

DA:I: This one is harder for me. I'm still going through romance options, but I feel confident in saying my canon will be either my female mage Lavellan and Solas or my male rogue (archer) Levellan and Cassandra....Can I have two canons? LOL

DAO: Female Elf Mage and Alistair (Alistair becomes king and they both go their separate ways in the end; "true-love-but-sadly-it-was-never-going-to-work-out" romance)

DA2: Male Rogue Hawke and Isabella (lighthearted fling romance)

DAI: Female Human Warrior and no one (fell in love with Cassandra but she don't swing that way). Cullen was tempting at some point, but I decided early on she was gay and not cliched bisexual, and stuck to it.

I think Morrigans romance is the most the deepest one of all and not to mention that you have a child with her plus there's a there's a DLC that's literally meant for a romance morrigan

DA2: Isabela
Looking at the trailer for Dragon Age 2 Hawke was in a romance w/ Isabela, I know that Isabela romance is not very deep but I still consider this the best one due to isabela being afraid of being loved

DAI: Cassandra for male and solas for female
Cassandra is one of the first people you meet in the game and also feel as being the herald of Andraste it's a deciding to be in a romance with someone devoted to the Chantry and and feel like being in a romance with Cassandra will bring her complete happiness as she said that she yearns for love

For solas if you are an elf female, of course, it was a cheap romance and went even further as he broke up with you at the end, and in the trespasses DLC you see you again and have one last romance scene with him

My 'cannon' characters and the romances:

 

Female Dalish elf rogue, did the US, Zevran (so sad....I cried may times playing this character, she was so depressing)

 

Female Rogue, pro-mage, offs Anders, Fenris (Sarcastic Hawke FTW)

 

Male Qunari warrior, Cassandra (holy goodness, way too cute together! and he was just so pragmatic....)

DAO:
Alistair with warrior Cousland, get married and rule together. I tried romancing him with a Surana first, and like him as a Warden, but I couldn't bring myself to choose between him and Hawke in the Fade, so... This was the only way to let them stay together and not "most likely" kill him. It just so happened that I liked it best, too!

DA2:
Anders with funny Mage LadyHawke, friendship path. They were on the same page, until...

DAI:
Blackwall with dual-wield rogue Lavellan. I just like it a lot.

Canon; The Goodie Show

Female Warrior Cousland who romanced and married Alistair. She's honest, kind and compassionate, however Angelica is also ambitious, bold, and is extremely selfless. She is his Queen Consort, despite him being hardened by Angelica for the 'greater' good.

Male Snarky Mage Hawke who rivalmanced Isabela. He supported the mages all the way through before Anders decided to ruin it all. Anders was killed by Hawke in my game.

Female Knight Enchanter Trevelyan who romanced Cullen. She's also a Mage activist and romanced Cullen to prove to all those cynical people that he's changed truly. She's a bit motherly but extremely mature for her young age.

The Woman who are more compent to then there men,

Male Warrior Cousland who romanced Morrigan. He's kind of hard headed, and really very serious. He's loyal, but only really to Morrigan; everyone else can burn in heck.

Female Warrior Hawke who rivalmanced Sebs. She's snarky. And a Templar supporter as well.

Male Mage Lavellan who romanced Cassandra. He's snarky, easy-going but very independent.

Who do you consider to be your "canon" romance from each game?

 

 

You mean, which romances are kept in our world-state?

 

• Neutral Evil "Lady" Surana - Hardened King Alistair (very ambitious Warden -> screws the next king, then pushes him in a loveless political marriage, then make him screw Morrigan because now's not the time to forfeit all the sweet perks that come with being a rich & famous Archdemon slayer/Sovereign's mistress/Feudal lord)
• Snarktastic Good Apostate Hawke - Eluvian-fixin' Merrill (Let's make the respectable, well bred people clutch their pearls while they watch Champion's consort picking flowers in their gardens. At least they remain blissfully unaware of the ungodly amount of blood-magic & demon-summoning Serah Hawke allowed in his household because his Fereldan upringing rendered him powerless before his Dalish mate's puppy eyes)
• Neutral Good Rogue Trevelyan - Josephine (because I tend to favor characters who aren't trained killers)

DA:O: Morrigan, and the full romance with the ring, extra sentence on the epilogue, and I follow her through the Mirror

 

DA2: I am very torn here because I'm not sure yet what my 'canon' version is. My favorite Hawke romances Merril, but I think for the full epic 3 game story arc, my 'canon' Hawke is a devil may care mage, so Isabella, to the point she comes back for me

While this isn't my personal 'canon' (see my earlier post where I list that), I think that the best story is probably:

 

DA: O - male human noble sword/shield warrior romancing Morrigan (did the dark ritual)

DA 2 - male sarcastic mage Hawke romancing Anders (exiling him instead of staying with him or killing him)

DA: I - female elf rift mage romancing Solas (disbanded inquisition; seeking to redeem Solas)

 

To me, these are probably the most compelling stories of the bunch.  All mages too, I just noticed......

What a coincidence! Mine's incredibly similar! 

 

DAO: City Elf Rogue x Alistair. (Kept him with the Wardens.)

 

DA2: Female Warrior x Fenris. Friendmance. (I keep thinking mage, but the truth is I HATE Kirkwall, and I can't imagine any Hawke of "mine" would stay there unless they held her sister hostage at the Gallows and she stayed just to make sure she was all right.)

 

DAI: Female Mage Lavellan x Solas. (While not co-canon, I did also make a male rogue archer Lavellan who romanced Cassandra, a romance that surprised me by how much I loved it.)

  I don't have a 'canon', per se, because I hate feeling like my other playthroughs are 'less true' or just 'what if' scenarios. That being said, I do have one world state that's kind of my default.

 

   DAO: Female Amell, romanced Alistair, married him to Anora and became his mistress

   DA2: Male rogue, romanced Isabela, saved Bethany and the mages

   DAI: Female warrior Trevelyan, romanced and married Cullen, conscripted the mages
