I'm trying out the rest, I don't know enough yet about other romances for DAI, but I can't see that anything beats these for me. Maybe it's the personalities I choose to play that are closest to me which are drawn to incredibly dramatic romances, though after just finishing DAI with Solas romance, I kind of wish I wasn't drawn to such tragedy. I feel very hollow right now.

My favorite out of the two is definetly Alistair and my Warden. When I found out that Cullen was romanceable in Inquisition, I thought he would rival Alistair for top spot but nope. Cullens romance was awesome, but I'm now accepting that noone will ever take Alistairs spot as my favorite.

And I'm honestly not really into any of the DA:I romances thus far. I did Solas and Lavellan the first playthrough (obviously, she was the only choice) and I didn't like it. It was weird and Solas is not attractive to me. That's just personal preference though.

(I hate and despise Anders but it suited the theme of mage protagonists. Morrigan (DR and all) and Dorian fit in beautifully).

(I adore Fenris and Iron Bull. Zevrans grown less on me since more s/s romances have become available over the years but he was the first LI arc I played in Origins so he's still special in a way)

Female dual-dagger (sarcastic) rogue Hawke with Anders, who runs off with Vengeance McCrazyPants because YOLO.

 

Female dual-dagger (sweet and noble) Lavellan with Solas, who will never stop wondering and searching.

Leliana, Merrill and sadly as much as I adore Sera and Josephine I don't see either as a long term fit for my Dalish Mage

It's horrible and tragic and makes Leliana's attitude in DA3 seem even more poignantly sad.

Knight enchanter/Cullen. The ultimate power couple and dynamic duo. The Beyonce and Jay-Z of Thedas. Ok, maybe not as powerful as a King Alistair/Cousland, but still. Hell yeah. 

I don't really like thinking about canon romances for the previous DA games. I am a straight female, and simply had issues with all of the boys from Alistar and Zevran, to Fenris/Anders/Sebastian. I went solo in DA:O (by accident, but I never really decided btw Alistair/Zevran). I ended up with Anders, because I failed at getting Fenris.

 

The Anders romance made a very tragic and poignant end to DA2, but in hindsight,both he and Fenris are overly problematic individuals who don't seem like they can truly offer a healthy relationship, which turns me off from embracing either of them as a canon romance for my Hawke. I would have liked Anders much more if he were more like his Awakening-self.
