I just start laughing whenever someone says that.  They treat homosexuality and bisexuality like they're diseases that can be 'cured' like the flu.  It's just ridiculous.

Exactly.  I still remember the Asexuality thread and all the idiocy there.  It's actually thanks to that thread that I realized that I'm actually asexual myself.  I self-identify as being straight, but I have a feeling that saying that wouldn't stop people from being creeped out.
