Wasn't there a stigma towards male gamers who exclusively played as female characters in RPGs and romanced male characters with them? I seem to remember there being one.

No, I meant that male gamers who played female characters to romance male characters were considered to be gay. Apparently if you play as a female character and you're a guy, you have to romance other female characters.
I've made a lot more female PCs than male PCs because the romances for the female PCs tend to be a lot better (Garrus/FemShep, Fenris/f!Hawke, Alistair/f!Warden, and Solas/f!Lavellan come to mind) and the female PCs tend to have better VAs.

Yeah, he is awesome. He and my mom haven't been together for about 10-11 years now (they never got married, so no divorce) and he only sticks around because of me and my sister, which just makes him that much more awesome to me.

Ah okay sorry about that. I don't really see why they have to be gay to do that since there is still a woman in the scenes that he could focus on + the fact that people might enjoy the male video game characters personality more than the female ones.

Exactly. Though, it could be the fact that they choose to romance a male rather than another female. People have been accused of being worse with less reason.

Isn't it more a question of respect for each other? I don't mind if others are religious, good for them if it makes them happy. (Same with atheism.) But what gives anyone the right to dictate which beliefs / values to embrace beyond the very basics of society?
Regarding Youtube: their policies and (disconnected) practices form an absolute mess. Sadly, there's no real alternative yet...

Yes, I agree.
We should all just respect each other's beliefs, and while there are some people who are capable of doing so, sadly not everybody is going to conform to this, and that is the reality of the matter.
The human race thrives off of conflict... so being different and opposing differing viewpoints/beliefs, is a bit of a turn on for some. You know, "love to hate" and all. I'm guilty of this, but only from a defensive stance.
And in relation to the other topic; I considered a PT of a male character who romanced Dorian. But it was more of a story thing than a "sexuality" thing, because he was going to be a pro-mage/freeeeeeedom for all mages, who just happened to be gay but wasn't into having his arse owned by Iron Bull... so does that make me straight now? Am I a closet heterosexual?

I don't care if people are religious. They have the freeeeeeeeeeeeedom to do so, as I have it to live my life.
The problem is when they push it onto you in places such as classrooms... or even knock on your front door and try to tell you that Jesus will save your soul.
Maybe I should knock on their door with rainbow coloured neon signs hanging off me, saying, "Gay is the way!!!" Or, "Sell your soul to Satan!!" or... "Grow a brain. Ditch religion." etc.
